Switch date changed
I ordered a VM fibre broadband package early September with an installation date of 10th December (that was the earliest available). I assumed it was because VM would have to inspect it my existing line (it's fibre already) was sufficient and a backlog of orders. I got an email on the 8th October from my current provider that VM had changed my switch date to 26th October. When I look at my VM order it still says the December date. I've not received any equipment or other emails from VM since I placed the order. Should I be concerned that I'm going to be left without internet? What should I do?Returning Equipments
I left virginmedia, and I returned the hub and the tv box with the package that virgin media sent. I have confirmation from Yodel that the package has been returned to Virgin Media on 07/10/2025 but now I've received a text from Virgin Media saying they haven't received yet and I will be charged. I have the receipt from yodel as proof of transaction. Can somebody help me to sort out the issue.66Views0likes5CommentsReturning VM Kit
How do I go about getting a large box to return VM Kit? I was told to use this link https://virg.in/returnkit which I did but the box I was sent is too small for the kit I wish to return, it's bigger than the box. I have 2x set top boxes and a super hub, I've already returned a superhub, but I have another one that isn't in use either. The superhub may fit in the small box I have been given not checked, but the two set top boxes however will not fit in the box.25Views0likes0CommentsVirgin fail to send packaging to return tivo box
Since receiving a new tivo box over a year ago, I have contacted Virgin 8 times to request the packaging to send the old one back. This has included online, on the phone and via engineers who came to the house. Each time, there were profuse apologies and the promise to send the packaging. I am now considering taking the old box to the tip but don't want to be charged (although advisors I speak to on the phone seem unaware of the history of my dilemma or whether I may be charged). Anybody else had a similar experience and able to advise, please?211Views0likes3CommentsUnable to return VM Equipment
Hi, I've received changed the services I get from VM. VM sent me new equipment, but want the old equipment back. However, the returns label they provided (Yodel) doesn't work. I went to 3 different shops, and they either cannot scan in the item, or it freezes the machine. What do I do? I don't want to be charged for this when the label that I have been given by VM is faulty. It either doesn't scan for the shopkeeper or it breaks their machine! Thanks.509Views0likes2CommentsYodel return of 10 Aug 2024
I've had a new router delivered (I was told it needed upgrading) and have installed it. All working fine. I packed up the old one and dropped it off at my local Yodel pick-up point as requested. Today (14 August) I had an email from Virgin asking where the equipment was. Sounded a little threatening. I dropped the box off on Wednesday 10 August, was told I would receive a confirmation that Yodel had picked it up. I had entered my email address carefully on the phone they were using to manage the process at the pick-up point and checked it, but have received no receipt. I've tried downloading the Yodel app, but it won't let me enter my address to complete the installation of the app. All I've got is a photo of the label that I fixed to the box. How can I prove to Virgin that the box is on the way or find out whether that they have received it?424Views0likes2CommentsThreat I'll Be Charged For Non Return Of Equipement
After being forced to cancel my 25 years with Virgin Media after cancelling broadband and then finding out the TV won't work with it I was sent some boxes to return my equipment. I've been told via email and texts to my wife that if we don't get the equipment to you by the 29th June I'll be charged £65. The emails and texts were dated 20th June. On the 14th June at 12:34pm I went to a local Yodel drop off point and left my returning box with them. I have a receipt of proof that they had it. How am I meant to know if useless Yodel will pick it up and return it to you before that date and you'll not charge me as I've left you regardless? I said on the phone to the representative that I might come back in the future as they were so apologetic as I wasn't told that by cancelling my broadband I'd have to cancel my TV as well. The wording of the email and text are not in a nice manner and depending how this goes as to whether like I said Yodel do indeed return the items to you or you charge me will determine how I feel about re-joining in the future. I would like to know if you receive the items plus I have proof I dropped it off for you.
