My contract was coming to an end so I renewed with a deal that was offered to me on the app. This was on the 15th September, and I received 3 emails confirming the change (one with the order summary, one with the contract, and one final email confirming the changes and my new monthly bill of £27.75). A month later, the changes still aren't showing in my account and it states my monthly bill is £65.97. I spoke to someone on the live chat yesterday who said the updates had been applied to my account but they don't usually take a month to show. How can I check that the new contract I signed up for is in place? Ideally before I am overcharged?Solved48Views0likes3CommentsCannot change email on ID
Hi all I made the mistake of linking my Virign and O2 accounts and now that is coming home to roost. My Virgin account uses an at virginmedia.com email address and although I have managed to add a new email account as the ID, I can't verify the email, the system keeps saying, sorry, can't verify that email address right now. I don't know what the real problem is but I suspect it isn't the validation system being down as I can validate backup emails. Anyway, does anyone know who I can contact to resolve this as my old virgin email is making it impossible to do anything on O2, when validating they are using the primary email to send contracts to and I don't have access to that. A pictute is better than any text so here we go, anyone know who I can contact to get this fixed, I just want to verify the email, I tried the chat but that was less than useless and they just gave me a dodgy number to call30Views0likes1CommentManaging multiple @blueyonder.co.uk accounts
I have an active Virgin Media account (I'm a broadband customer), and for years have had four @blueyonder.co.uk email addresses used by myself and three other family members associated with that account. All four accounts are regularly used. After the transition to VMO2, I've linked my new VMO2 ID to my Virgin Media account. I'm able to manage my (the primary) @blueyonder.co.uk email account app password through https://www.virginmediao2.co.uk/identity/id-settings/my-accounts using ID Settings->Virgin Media Account->Manage email app password. However, I can't see any way to manage the @blueyonder.co.uk email accounts used by my other family members (e.g. to change the app password). Some of those family members have their own VMO2 IDs (because they're O2 mobile customers), but unless I'm wrong it doesn't seem possible to link those IDs to the single common household Virgin Media account which I manage, and hence there seems no way for those members to manage their own @blueyonder.co.uk app password. Help! Surely there must be a way to do this.28Views0likes1CommentHistorical Debt - Unable to change address
I am trying to update my address for an old Virgin Mobile Account that is currently being managed by a Debt Management company on my behalf. However, I cannot get through to anyone at Virgin on live chat or the phone that can help me, as I cannot remember the original address for the account. Please can someone help me, I've spent hours online and no one helps me. I just need to update the address. Can’t enter a “valid” email address on sign in
When I try to sign in to my Virgin Media account with my email address I get an error message saying, “Please enter a valid email address”. If I use the “Forgot your email address” tool then the email address it displays is the one that you’re telling me isn’t valid! So now I can’t access my account. What am I supposed to do? PS. Can’t search for tags on Safari mobile, and Safari desktop displays the message, “Forbidden. You don’t have permission to access url”, which is why I’m using mobile. Is anybody at VM actually checking that these things actually work?Solved1.4KViews0likes68CommentsHow can I change the account email address without access to it? I am at wits end.
Can someone from virgin media please help I am at my wits end. The email address used to access my account is now defunct and can't be reinstated. To change the account email address the VM system requires... access to the old email inbox. The only email change process sends a verification email to the old address. How can I change the account email address without access to it? I keep being told I’m reaching maximum security questions after only 2 attempts and at this point I just want to cancel my account but cannot do so due to the email issue. How can this be resolved??21Views0likes0CommentsNo confirmation email of contract nor delivery date
I signed up for virgin media and received an email with with a summary of my order, an estimated delivery date of the 11/10/25, and a statement saying I would get a confirmation email with my official contract and actual delivery date. I have since received nothing from virgin media, and the estimated delivery date was not correct. Help?14Views0likes1CommentNew contract set up without my consent after moving house
I moved from a flat into a house and virgin media cut me off early due to the new tenant enquiring about getting Virgin Media in the same flat. That issue was sorted about a reconnection, and I thought that would be all done. In the process of trying to get reconnected, I must have given my new address to someone at VM because unbeknownst to me, a new account has been set up in my name at my new address. I have explicitly stated that I would not be taking Virgin Media with me to my new address, and have correspondence saved to prove this, so I was shocked when I have received a bill for £122.29 for a new account in August. I can't access this new account, as my email is only associated with my old account, which I have paid the final bill for. Who can get this issue rectified as I will not be paying the £122.29 I have received a bill for as I never asked for the services, have not received the services, and explicitly stated that I did not want the services. I have cancelled the direct debit to VM as I am sure that any money taken in eror would not be returned.72Views0likes4CommentsFree Toshiba TV or £145 bill credit help
Pretty much as the title says. I signed up on Saturday 9th august. I chose the Toshiba tv, but when I’ve received the pre contract info - my broadband and tv package is listed but no mention of the offer in the paperwork. I’ve received the e billing email so I’ve signed up for the online account, and again can’t see any mention of the Toshiba tv anywhere. this is pretty much the only reason I signed up to virgin media,I was going to sign up elsewhere so I want to make sure it is all ok before I fully proceed with installation Is anyone able to check my account please?
