I left VM 2 years ago and now my ntlworld email has been hacked. How do I close the account down?
I left VM 2 years ago after having had my broadband supplied by them for 15-20 years (originally NTLWorld). When I left I set up new email accounts as I’d been informed the NTL world email would be deleted after 90 days. unfortunately some of the services I’d used but unsubscribed to have been sending me messages with new access codes (some messages in Spanish), I’ve received some phishing emails with my NTLworld password being quoted and I’ve also been receiving a load of email failed to send messages - so my email has clearly been hacked. How do I go about getting my email deleted so I can put an end to the hackers pretending to be me?35Views0likes3CommentsAccess via Virgin Media app/ website
I’m in an interesting situation. My wife has an android phone and can log in and use the VM app/ webpage. I have always been able to log in to the website account/ app/ virgin media go/ Virgin media control apps. I have also always been able to log into view Sky Sports via the VM log in. I can no longer do any of these things. We have the VM 2FA O2 log in set up. Every time I try to log in to VM (laptop/ iPhone) on app or webpage, I either get a server error (webpage) or get redirected back to the VM sign in page. On the webpage on iPhone, when I log in I am greeted with a blank screen and the normal menu (for when you have logged in) but if I click on anything it sends me back to the sign in page. Can anyone help fix this? Or at least explain what VM could do, if I was to call them. Thanks Chris108Views0likes9CommentsUnable to manage account
Hello, We recently ordered a Broadband upgrade and recieved an order number, however since then no changes have been made to my account and I am unable to change any package settings as I am continually redirected to the following URL: https://www.virginmedia.com/support/help/change-my-package/my-current-package/customer-exclusion This points me to the WebChat, which is painfully awkward to navigate and responses from human team members are dreadfully slow. This is not helpful for an 85 year old account holder. Please help.16Views0likes1CommentCan’t enter a “valid” email address on sign in
When I try to sign in to my Virgin Media account with my email address I get an error message saying, “Please enter a valid email address”. If I use the “Forgot your email address” tool then the email address it displays is the one that you’re telling me isn’t valid! So now I can’t access my account. What am I supposed to do? PS. Can’t search for tags on Safari mobile, and Safari desktop displays the message, “Forbidden. You don’t have permission to access url”, which is why I’m using mobile. Is anybody at VM actually checking that these things actually work?1KViews0likes62CommentsNo upgrades or renewal offers…

Dear O2 Customer Service, I am writing to report a suspected fraudulent activity involving my personal information. On 12 September, I received a suspicious phone call from someone claiming to be from O2. After the call, I discovered that a Virgin Media O2 ID was created under my email address without my authorisation. (Team member please DM me for the email address) I am concerned that my account may have been compromised or used for fraudulent purposes. Could you please: Check whether there has been any unusual activity on any O2 or Virgin Media O2 accounts associated with my email address. Cancel or delete the Virgin Media O2 ID that was created without my consent. Please confirm once the ID has been cancelled and advise if there are any additional steps I should take to secure my personal information. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter. Kind regards,25Views0likes1CommentThis Virgin Media email address isn’t valid

I have trying for the past hour to add a 2nd passkey to my VM account, my 1st passkey is for my pc and i want to add a 2nd on my phone. In the VM app when i select "Add Passkey" on the manage passkeys screen, it gives the error "your passkey wasn't verified please try again or choose another way to sign in" so i select "sign in another way" it goes to the text code entry screen, i enter the code sent in the text message and select submit, it goes back to the manage passkeys screen with the message "You've cancelled adding a new passkey" and it ends up with me in a loop of select add passkey > submit text code > back to manage passkeys with the above message. am i missing something or is the app just borked?68Views0likes7Comments
