Overheating box
Hi there, The light on my super hub 3.0 has turned red and with some research tonight I believe it’s supposedly an overheating light. I’ve done the suggested of resetting, making sure it’s ventilated etc. but nothing seems to set it back to proper functioning. Symptoms include: Sudden and repeated loss of internet connectivity across all devices Devices remain connected to the router but lose access to the internet Dropouts occur randomly, sometimes multiple times per day Router logs show normal operation, suggesting the issue is upstream Given the similarity to the SYNC Timing Synchronization failures described in the community posts, I suspect this may be a signal-level or infrastructure issue. Hi, We are new to virgin media broadband. But so far I'm really unimpressed and disappointed with the broadband. We have a hub 3. I've done so of the broadband tests on the app and online, which say it's running fine. Yet my son on his tablet and ps5, as well as our mobile phones, every so often lose connection. Also my son says his ps5 is very laggy. We were with Vodafone before for a few years, on a lower speed to this, but we never had any problems. Can anyone please help? I have a solid red light on my virgin media hub 3 for over 6 months. (The hub is over 8 years old I believe) I’ve also been having issues with my WiFi dropping on a regular basis. I have connected virgin media and I have done a reset of the wifi router recently and have taken out the wires and plugged them in again. My Hub 3.0 hit the solid red light / overheating problem so I've been sent a replacement Hub 3.0 but when I plug it in and log into the admin page it reports that the internet connection is blocked and shows an "Access Denied" message. The LED on the front shows a solid white light. When I plug my old router back in then everything works fine (apart from the red light). Does the replacement Hub need to be activated by Virgin before it will be recognised?SolvedHub 3 hot weather no Internet
Hi, during hot weather(25°+) my hub 3.0 led shows a steady red and the internet goes. It only comes back on when the weather/temp cools down. This consistently happened every hot weather day the last few weeks. I've had my hub 3.0 about a decade now but this is my first time with this issue. Service status for my area always shows as good. I check all connections and reset everytime but it only works for a min then it goes again. The only thing that solves it is waiting for the weather to cool🙁.
