No Modem Mode on Fibre Hub 5
Hardware version 1.2.1b Software version 5.7.5-2402.3 Has there been any update on this, or a beta group for a new firmware update to re-enable this feature? I do not mind testing and giving feedback. It is a real pain as none of the traffic I would like to send it getting out..88Views0likes5CommentsOrdering a WiFi pod

We were suffering a slow connection. Today an engineer came out. Replaced the hub3 for a hub 5 and installed 2 Wi-Fi pods. Since then it’s worse. vm connect cannot find the hub. not sure if the pods are working. Connection is dodgy through the house, have to keep deleting Wi-Fi and rejoining. Near one of the pods it’s particularly unreliable. Was hoping to access vm connect to see what’s connecting and what isn’t. anybody advise? Think getting VM connect working first might help then I can run tests around the house to check pods working etc.31Views0likes1CommentInternet keeps dropping off for a minute or so
Hello! My internet keeps dropping off throughout the day for a minute or so, both wired and wireless. Tried support and got nowhere. The issue only appeared or started occurring after I upgraded my internet package and got the superhub 5. Support noted that i have had 72 disconnects in the month of june but have been unable to resolve my very frustrating issue. Here are the info from the network log on my router. I had a network outage in the area so registered for updates. I was notified they were fixed so came home and restarted my router. It was flashing green for ages and not connecting, so I restarted. I called up virgin and they went through troubleshooting. No help. So now I’m waiting days for a technician! And days of work wasted. Can someone give me hope? Should I leave it? Or switch it off for a while? Green flashing is an update, but it’s been doing it for hours. Can it not connect to the internet and download/ update?67Views0likes5CommentsHub 5 connection dropping?
Hey. I'm using a Hub 5 on a Gig1 connection, and have a weird issue. My connection will drop without warning, yet the status light on my hub will remain solid white. My phone (attached to the hub) will have a dialing tone yet I cannot successfully dial out or receive calls. I am able to address the hub's web interface and its network status reads "connected" etc. Occasionally it will come back on its own after a matter of hours, but usually I have to reboot or power-cycle the hub to get it to reconnect, after which it will work fine for a few hours. Rinse and repeat. Here's hoping someone can help shed some light on this most peculiar occurrence.121Views0likes9CommentsFaulty pod
I have recently had VM fibre broadband installed with a Hub5x and two pods. Both pods worked fine for a time, but one of them now refuses to connect to the Hub. I have moved this pod to several locations, including in the same room as the Hub. When I restart the pod it goes through the start-up sequence (judging by the lights), but it get stuck on the pulsing white light. The VM Connect app shows both pods, but tells me the faulty one is offline ("We couldn't find your WiFi Pod") The Pod is plugged in and I have positioned it in a place where it should see the Hub. I'd be grateful for any advice as to next steps.27Views0likes1CommentVM Connect App and Hub5
Since my Hub3 was replaced a few weeks ago by a new Hub5, the VM Connect App has stopped working properly. The Connect App doesn’t show my WiFi details, or my Network Devices (other than with an exclamation mark in a triangle) or my WiFi devices. All I get are messages “Oops! Something went wrong “ or “something went wrong on our side” and “Contact support if this message keeps appearing “ Help please, preferably from a VM Moderator.Solved238Views0likes11Comments
