Volt not applied to O2 account

I recently joined Virgin Media and was sold a Volt Package, the Volt benefit has been applied to my VM broadband, but not my O2 account, a new SIM which I received and set up.

As advised on the Volt perks page, I have checked my details on both accounts, and they are the same.

I see on the O2 homepage there is an option to log in with a Virgin media O2  ID, but as soon as I click to do this it tells me...

Don’t worry - we’ll email you soon with an invitation to link your Virgin Media and O2 login details, which will create your new Virgin Media O2 ID.

For now, you’ll need to sign in to My O2 as normal.

I
have spoken to O2 chat who advise me it is a Virgin issue, and the said they will raise it and it will take 14 days, then I received an email to say....

We're chuffed to hear that you're interested in supercharging your world with Volt!

Now that you've registered your details with us, we'll contact you towards the end of your contract so keep an eye out for any updates closer to the time.

It seems to be a complete mess, I now wish I stayed with my existing mobile provider.

Why can't Volt just be applied, it even states in my O2 account that I have a Volt sim package.

Does anyone have a solution,

Hi sc00byd00,

Thanks for taking the time to contact us via the Community. It's lovely having you on board with us in the Forums.

We're sorry to hear you're having an issue with activating your Volt benefits on the O2 side of things. I'm afraid we don't have access to the O2 systems in order to be able to help. We can only help with VM account issues.

All I can advise from here is to try logging in to your My O2 account. Once logged in you can opt in to the benefits and the benefits should be applied to your O2 account will be applied within 14 days. If that doesn't work then all I can suggest is to contact O2 again for further help.

Apologies for the inconvenience.

Thanks,
