Hi,
We regularly use the Virgin TV Go App to connect to the Virgin 360 TV box and use our phones as a remote control since the box is out of range to use the physical Virgin Remote. It works really well except for when the Virgin 360 TV box goes into Standby mode.
When the box is in Standby and we Connect to the 360 Box in the app, it states that the box is in Standby Mode and displays a button to press on the App to power on the 360 box. On pressing this, it displays "Connecting" however the box never wakes up and we have to manually go closer and use the physical Virgin remote to power up the box.
Currently the box is set to go into Standby after 4 hours. If I set this to 24 hours then I will have the same issue in case we don't use the box for over 24 hours. Hopefully there is a fix to this?

Hi Sat2993,
Thanks for your post and welcome back to our Community Forums 🙂
I'm quite surprised that both your 360 remote and the TV GO App remote cannot connect to your TV Box due to the distance, the 360 remote has a connection distance of up to 10 meters.
Is your living room longer than 10 meters?
Thanks,
Meg

Hi Meg,
Yes the distance is more than 10 meters from the location of the TV box and remote, hence the need to rely on the App over Wi-Fi.

Thank you for popping back to us @sat2993 we do ask that you try to stick to one post per issue to avoid confusion within the forum.
Can I ask if have tried multiple devices with the App at all?

Yes, I have tried multiple iPhones and same result.
I believe I have resolved the issue by changing the standby setting to "Fast Start"
