V6 Remote control doesn't work

Hi all,

after a long holiday, returning home after 4 weeks I have noticed my V6 remote stopped working - I have replaced batteries (twice), have tried to reset it - no progress.

 

Logically, I wanted to check if I can order a new one, but the only way to get there is to report the remote as damaged/broken and then there is a message 'I already received a free remote within the last 12 months and for a new order I will be charged £9.99'.

Can someone check this for me as I don't recall ordering a new one before (unless it was given to me when the old V6 had to be replaced since it gave up the ghost) and don't want to pay for something I should be getting free of charge.

      None of these works - remote isn't responding even with brand new batteries. Is there anyone who can check why am I being charged for replacement (with the justification message saying it's due to the fact I already received a new one in the last 12 months)?
