Not able to create password

Hello,

I’m trying to create a Virgin Media account, but it’s not allowing me to create a password. Any password that I create is being refused with… password cannot be used.

Can you help?

Welcome to our Community Forums! Thank you for your first post and I'm sorry to hear that you're having some issues registering for an online account! 

Can you confirm if you're an active customer with us? Have you tried registering for your online account for a different email address to see if this can help?

Please give it a go and let us know what happens. What error are you seeing when creating your online account?

I am having the same issues as people have previously stated. No matter the password combination, I am still receiving ‘requirements not met’

My contract expires in two days so urgently need to change my password to view account.

Can someone who works for Virgin reach out to resolve this please?

I am sorry to hear of the issues you are having setting the password for your online account. 

 

Can you please try using a different browser, or the My Virgin Media app?

I run to exactly same problem. No matter what I do, password is incorrect. What are the real requirements for the password?

We're sorry to hear you're having an issue with creating the password. The real requirements are listed on the page when you attempt to create a password however we are aware some people are having an issue.

One month passed and still no update, everyone stopped even replying to messages.

Come on, it's not that hard. All I need is an account creation, which should take less than minute for anyone with access to database. What can possibily take so long for "tech company"?

Getting exactly the same thing. I've tried everything, including: 'Frustratingvirginmedia!!!!!!925@**@' Still invalid.  Virgin's password test seems impossible to pass. Did you ever find a way round it?

How on earth are you supposed to pass the Virgin Media new password test?  I've tried everything and have included upper case and lower case letters, numbers and special characters. The Virgin system condemns them all as invalid.
