Having trouble signing in to ntl world

Trying to sign in to my email or Virgin media. Get the page asking for email address, then O2/ virgin page saying checking details, then the page with my password and the sign in button. Click the sign in button and nothing happens, it's like the link is dead. My email is working on my phone so it's a computer issue I guess. Old PC running windows 7 and firefox, not made any changes, seems fine with everything else just this new issue with ntl world etc.

Any suggestions? TIA

  • Hi jonesjh, thank you for your post.

We're sorry to hear about the problem you're having 😔

Have you tried accessing your e-mails through a different browser on the PC? Also, are you experiencing the same problem if/when trying to access them through a "client" app (like Microsoft Outlook, Apple Mail or Gmail)?

Advice on how to manage a Virgin Media e-mail account can be found here.

Please pop back to us at your earliest convenience.

    Regards,
    Daniel

Thanks, only just found this as notification went into gmail spam. Sorted it by using Chrome instead though it now seems to be working on Firefox as well now.

I've got very much the same problem.....did you actually get an ANSWER to your question?

The advice page offered by Daniel_Et hasn't helped me at all, I'm afraid.

Hi Kev, only just found this in my spam folder. I used Chrome to get my emails though Firefox is now working ok. Cheers John

      Super solver

It must depend on what extensions are installed on the browser which may be blocking the VM login tracking.

Disabling the extension to allow login is the answer.

My firefox browser was the only one that worked in windows 11, even with extension browser guard, but I still have issue with chrome and edge with the browser extension needing to be turned off, this is a new problem, so not sure what has caused the problem as I have used the browser guard for ages. I have no issues in windows 10 so may be the last updates on windows 11 may have caused this.

  • Hello jonesjh,

Thanks for your post. Just checking in with you to see if you have read the above work around?

Or possibly looked at an alternative browser?

Does this happen on a private/incognito web page?
