360 issue since new tv

Spent an hour trying to get help via the various services …. Nightmare WhatsApp didn’t work, phoning spat me out and suggested messaging service and sent a link 

anyway I upgraded to 360 fine but a few weeks later got a new TV .. since then whenever I switch the tv on I get the Samsung homescreen rather than it going straight to virgin - apparently my tv is not connected to my box according to the ‘knowledgeable person’ on the chat …. But it is connected and I can access it but i can’t access it automatically … any ideas?

  • It's most probably a setting on your new Samsung TV to connect to the HDMI connector that the 360 is connected to start from on when you power on, are you using the red button switch on the 360 to turn both the TV and box on when you press it and do have the one power setting to on. (In the middle of watching something so will need to check that later.)
