Incoming landline message 'this persons's phone is unavailable...' but outgoing calls ok

Anyone that tries to call my landline gets the immediate message 'This persons phone is unavailable please try later or send a text' however I can make calls on it.  I have tried unplugging the cordless phone from the phone socket and replaced with an old style dial up phone with the same result.  No faults have shown for my area. Its been like this for a few weeks, someone else had the same problem before Christmas, how was it resolved?

    We're sorry to hear you're having an issue with your landline accepting calls. This is something we can certainly check for you but in order to do that I will need to confirm some information with you to pass security. 

    I have sent you a direct message to allow us to do this with you in a private space. If you are using a PC/Laptop then you can just click on the little ✉ at the top right-hand side of the page to access your inbox. If you are on a mobile/tablet device then instead click on the little circle icon in the top right then select 'Messages'. 😊
