Cannot watch recordings of TNT Sports on the TV Go app

I can create and watch recordings of live rugby union matches from the TNT Sports channels but can only watch these on my TV not the Virgin TV Go app.  When I try to watch these recordings on the Virgin TV Go app there is a message on the screen stating that I can only watch these  recordings "Only on Virgin TV box"

Is there a reason for this or do I need to change some settings to enable me to watch these recordings on the TV Go app?

    I've not tried to do this for a little while, but historically this was due to media rights issues.

    The error message is pretty self-explanatory - whilst (virtually?) every channel can be streamed remotely using TV Go, they don't all allow streaming or downloading of recordings.

    From memory, you might even find that non-live events will in-home stream via the app, but live events won't.
