I am currently on the M500 plan and have a broadband speed of 276.30mbps in the lounge where the WiFi box is.
However as soon as I leave this room the speed drops to 39.36 downstairs and 3.42 upstairs.
This is not sustainable. I have seen people able to get boosters free of charge due to virgin not offering the service set out. Does anyone know if this is a possibility or how I can fix the issue without paying an extra £10pm for each booster!

We're sorry to hear about the issue you've been having with your WiFi speed 😔
The minimum guaranteed download speed for the M500 package, when on a hard wired connection, is 258 Mbps, but as advised by Adduxi, we only guarantee 30 Mbps over WiFi.
You can add WiFi Max to your package for £8 a month, and we’ll send you a first WiFi Pod. More information on this can be found here.
Have you tried using the Virgin Media Connect app to order a first Pod? Also, if you could please answer the question asked by Adduxi, that'd be much appreciated.

VM Pods are not free on the M500 service. They are quite lousy value to rent.
Save yourself a lot of time and buy a Wi-Fi Mesh with sufficient nodes to cover your property,
it is a small investment to make to get your all your business and domestic kit working reliably.
Most important, working well quickly + fully under your control.
The official route is to use the VM Connect App and scan your property. When completed, the app should allow you to order the first Pod. If this is not working, just wait here a day or two for a VM Mod to pick this up and discuss directly with you.
Also what device are you using for testing?
Note VM only guarantee 30Mb over Wifi.
