Dropped Packets

Since 6pm yesterday, my internet has been dropping packets according to the BQM. Also the upload speed is fluctuating and unreliable.

This is the Continuous Bandwidth Tester results:

Your downstream power levels are all on the high side - with some channels outside the recommended range of   -6 to +10dBmV.

This needs a VM tech to investigate - call it in as a fault

downstream power levels are fine the problem as shown on StarTrinity CST is upstream noise

  • Latest update is that I received a text message saying that the fault outage issued had now been fixed. However, I still have no internet (since just after noon):

your BQM till the red block showed fine so I don't get why your not connected...

Maybe the fix has issued new DHCP scope to the CMTS and the BQM is wrong?

  • Thanks for your help everyone. I'm now back online after resetting the Virgin router and my WiFi router. Thank you.
