I’ve just had Virgin installed (hub5x) and I have a solid green light. The engineer did his best but left saying it will hopefully turn white soon. He will keep me updated and I have his contact details so can contact him directly too. He was really helpful actually. It’s not like he fled and left me to it. Can anyone shed any light on the solid green light situation?

Just some information, it’s probably different for the Hub5x, but on the Hub5 a green LED means the hub is in modem mode.
Yes, I don’t think the Hub5x even has a modem mode
Could it be the PON light? When the other end of the fibre is plugged into the actual network, it will turn white? Just a thought...
I have no idea but struggling to find anything about a solid green light on the Hub5x. Did a hard reset and it flashes white before going to the solid green light.
