I've left virgin, received return packaging at new address, returned it on Saturday. yodel tracking says on its way.
But virgin have resent the email asking where packaging should be sent, today. do they keep doing this until it's marked returned on their system? I've responded to the email with the yodel tracking info, explaining all this. But they never seem to respond (EquipmentReturns@virginmedia.co.uk)

Hi Tom,
The emails/sms messages regarding returned equipment are sent by an automated systems process so you may continue to receive these until VM do receive the returned items. If you only sent the items via Yodel on Saturday then it will probably take another week or so before they are delivered to VM's premises.
The good news is you have the tracking info and that is your proof that you've sent the equipment back. Overall it can take up to 14 days for the returned items to be picked up by VM's systems as they are entered in bulk.

I understand the emails and sms reminders are automated, but I've now received an email confirming a second set return packaging being sent by Royal mail to my address, despite yodel confirming my return was completed. Is it normal for virgin to duplicate the actual return packaging??

Sorry to hear of the confusion caused by the second set of returns packaging being sent, as you have mentioned the messages and emails are automated as well as the returns packaging. Once equipment is received it is then checked before the account is updated, if the automated response timeframes are triggered prior to this even though the equipment may be with us it can trigger a resend.
When did Yodel advise it was received at our warehouse?
ok thanks, Virgin themselves confirmed via email it made the warehouse on Friday 2nd August, so if I do recieve more returns packaging I'll just recycle it.
