Unable to link ‘Virgin Media’ account to ‘VM 02 ID’

Hi,

Hope all is well.

I need help with the following.

My service started on 22 July.

I am still facing problems trying to link a ‘Virgin Media account’ to a ‘Virgin Media 02 ID’ account.

I was told by phone to wait 2 days after the service started, yet no success.

It keeps saying the email used is wrong, which is impossible to be on my end as I have access to all the sign up contracts and documents. Even changing the email and getting verified, the same problem still comes up.

And the Virgin Media website to create a new ‘VM account’ takes you directly to a site to create a ‘Virgin Media 02’ account.

    could help me resolve the issue of being unable to link my accounts please? It keeps telling me my email is incorrect.

      I’m now sorted , followed the linked solution regarding Bing and now happy .

      i have exactly the same issue, quite frustrating been trying for several days to get it sorted including on line chat to no avail.

      hoping you can save my sanity as it just keeps rejecting any attempt at a solution so far.

    Try this:

    Go to Bing Search (yes, it has to be Bing), and search for 'Virgin Media Register', and look for the first non sponsored result, which should be titled 'Register My Virgin Media Account' follow that which manages to stay on the original Virgin Media Registration page. Setup your virgin media account there. Once that is setup try and go to the normal login which takes you back to the VirginMediaO2 linking thing, and set up/link again.
