Return Equipment to o2 store
My contract ended over a week ago. Not received the return packaging yet. I dont want to use Yodel anyway, as they have a terrible reputation in the area. I saw online that you can return to an o2 store, so popped in to my local one. They said they can only return the devices with a Return Label, but not a yodel one. Both 150 and Live Chat can only create labels for Yodel. I see other posts online of people returning to o2 stores and getting a receipt. Is my local o2 store staff member just unfamilair with the process? I've charged £90 for a nonreturned item despite contacting Virginmedia to explain that I had returned it. I have the posting receipt and tracking proof that the item had been received. The Virginmedia operator agreed that it had been returned and that on approval of her supervisor the current bill would be rectified. It has been over 10 days and this month's uncorrected bill has been taken from my account. Could someone from Virginmedia look into this and assure me that I will receive a refund. Hi All, I have spent a diabolical amount of time trying to talk to a human on Virgin's call lines and its the usual, tiring affair I've had to contend with for years ie I have gotten no where. I need help with equipment returns please as what Virgin have sent is pityful. I have recently moved my mothers home to Sky as Virgin wanted to charge over £100 for her standard package+broadband. I received an email stating I need to return 3 items, the existing Tivo Set top box & the hub and in addition the older set top box which is a huge Cisco Tivo box. A box did arrive but could barely fit the existing equipment in. I managed it and shall send it off this weekend, however I have no box for the bigger Cisco STB. I don't know what to do here. I am currently in a web messaging queue with Virgin and have been for 2hrs waiting for someone to respond 🙂 If anyone could point me in the right direction, I'd be grateful. I've had a new router delivered (I was told it needed upgrading) and have installed it. All working fine. I packed up the old one and dropped it off at my local Yodel pick-up point as requested. Today (14 August) I had an email from Virgin asking where the equipment was. Sounded a little threatening. I dropped the box off on Wednesday 10 August, was told I would receive a confirmation that Yodel had picked it up. I had entered my email address carefully on the phone they were using to manage the process at the pick-up point and checked it, but have received no receipt. I've tried downloading the Yodel app, but it won't let me enter my address to complete the installation of the app. All I've got is a photo of the label that I fixed to the box. Around 4th May 2024 VM say I should have received my returns packaging. I waited till the 7th May because of the bank holiday. Nothing. I then ordered the returns packaging and still they have not sent it! Today 11th May I have reordered it again because they now say they'll charge me £85 on the 20th May. I can see the game here. Hi VM, My returns packaging came today, but its only just big enough for the HUB5+cables. My Stream box is in original box (designed for it). Does the return process expect both in same box or can it be returned in additional returns packaging request? Alternatively, they have done area returns before by someone from VM picking it up. I left VM on 27th November 2023 as was immigrating to Australia. I provided proof of address in Australia, but was still charged over £200. This was eventually returned to my bank in January. I returned VM equipment via their yodel return service. I have now 13/01/2024 received a bill for £40 for equipment that has not been returned! It was returned back in November 2023. I am not even in the UK anymore and calling VM from Australia is less than ideal.
