WiFi Hub not arrived after 2 attempts
I have ordered the hub twice now and we still have had no delivery The first time I ordered it when signing the contract and everything looked fine, we got a message from yodel telling us it was on the way and it would arrive on Sep 1 at 18:35, we had 4 people in the house all day and had no knock at the door. Yodel claimed they had delivered the parcel but left no photo or any notes. We checked with our neighbours who also hadn't received it. I called Virgin on Sep 3rd and they confirmed they had the correct address and they said they had re-ordered another hub for us and it would take 3-5 days. I waited and then called again on Sep 8th as it had not arrived and I was told to wait longer and that I would only know what day it was going to arrive on that same day via email and I just had to hope that somebody was in the house that day. It's now Sep 12th and I haven't had any emails or texts about its delivery, I'm not even 100% sure if it's on the way. I'm not sure what else to do now. If anyone could please help that would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks, Ed"it appears that some information that we need to process your order was missing."
Hi, I got the below email this morning from VirginMediaWebsales@virginmedia.co.uk, do not call this included number . ----------- Hi there, Thanks for contacting Virgin Media about getting some of our services. It's great to hear you're thinking of joining us! We'd like to talk to you to as it appears that some information that we need to process your order was missing. This will help us take the next steps towards getting signed up, so just call our team on 0845 650 4500. As we need to look further into the details of your order before we can go ahead with your install, any pre-payment that you have made online will not be processed until your install date has been confirmed. We're looking forward to hearing from you! Kind regards, The Virgin Media team ----------- I will note that although I have not publicly posted it, the email did include my online order reference number that was attached to the contract documents I received when I changed my package, so I have reason to believe the email is legit, and not a scam designed to get people to phone a premium number. When calling the number I get an automated message to advise that the number is no longer in use, and to contact o2 or VM (depending on who you are calling for) so I hung up. Get a text from my mobile provider that I have been charged for the call (its not included in my minutes) and have been deducted 40p. If this is a legit email, and virgin are giving out a dead premium number people are still being charged £0.40 per minute to call that need to be addressed. Can a VM associate have a quick look over the notes on my account as see if there is any reason Virgin Media is asking me to contact them. Many Thanks.Solved58Views0likes1CommentOops something went wrong - no renewal prices
I am currently paying out of contract at £85 for gig1 broadband, when I click upgrade or change my plan, it always brings me to a something went wrong page. I have typed my postcode into the broadband checker and the same package I am on is available for £35 per month! i am unable to access the deal though as it just goes to the something went wrong page every time.160Views0likes6CommentsPackage Deal not met
I signed up for the m350 broadband deal £28.99, a price that is confirmed in my pre-contract summary and is still currently available on the Virgin Media website. However, I currently see my bill will be £66 a month. I reached out last Friday through the online chat and an agent said the relevant discount was not applied and to contact again in 48 hours. Today the first agent also told me there was a discount application issue and passed me on to another member of the team who proceeded to try and move me on to a different more expensive and longer contract and would not allow me to speak to another member of the team. Could someone assist me on this situation?Asian Mela added to my account
So just got my virgin media bill and noticed it had gone up ? after viewing the bill it’s telling me that I’ve changed my package and now have had added Asian Mela package !!!! I did not add this or authorise it to be added, looking at the forums it appears this has happened to other VM customers, not happy about this as that’s £16 I can not afford to lose !!!Broadband contract end-date unclear
Looking the below picture from the Virgin Media app, it is unclear to me which is my contract end-date. Is it 2nd March 2025 or 3rd January 2025? I need to know this to either renew my contract or switch provider. Please make this clear and easily accessible in the app and the website.2.4KViews0likes1CommentReturning Kit
Hello. For weeks now I have been waiting for the prepaid packaging to return my kit. I've even tried asking for new packaging to be sent to me, but I have not received anything. Virgin media have sent me a letter, have been emailing and texting me about returning the kit. This morning they sent an email and text saying if they don't receive in a week, they will charge me. It's kit I do not want or need, it's ready to be sent back. What are my options, what do I do? Really getting the feeling they don't want the kit back and would rather take the money...7.5KViews0likes1CommentCancelled O2 Sim
Hi I have a Volt package but have been paying separately for an O2 sim as I was told I could not have a SIM as part of the package. I received the following: We're sorry you've chosen to leave O2. Just so you know, this means you'll no longer get the supercharged benefits you're currently getting with your Virgin Media products. To find out more go to www.o2.co.uk/myo2 or contact us. Surely as I never had the Sim on the package as I had to pay separately how can this mean I lose the other benefits?1.1KViews0likes1CommentPackage Change ?!
I received my next e-bill (2nd bill of the contract) and it shows a £13 increase for 'package changes' which has all my current package and covers a 5 day period in June?! I have not made any request for changes as my existing discounted contract is until 2025. I cannot find out any specific details on my bill. What's going on? Has anyone had anything similar? I upgraded to a new contract a week ago. I received the pre-contract documents and an order confirmation email. The estimated activation date in the order confirmation email was 02 April 24. Now it's 05 April 24 and still have not been upgraded and I'm still being billed the old price. Please send me a PM.458Views0likes1Comment
