Want to move Thunderbird email data to Outlook
Hi everyone, I'm hoping someone here can help. I've recently backed up many of my old Thunderbird emails, which are in MBOX format. Now, I want to move everything to Microsoft Outlook, but I just realized Outlook doesn't support MBOX files directly. Has anyone here successfully converted MBOX files to PST? I’m looking for a method that doesn’t mess up the folder structure or email formatting. Free tools seem hit or miss, and I don’t want to risk losing data. Any help or recommendations would be much appreciated! Thanks in advance.157Views0likes2CommentsNtlworld.com email account removed by Virgin
Ok so to start off with I do work in IT but am completely confused by this whole thing. Last week my .ntlworld.com email stopped working (I do have a current contract with them for phone, broadband and TV and this is the primary email address associated with the account). Anyway after a couple of days and some very limited help from Virgin I had to setup a separate outlook account and use this. They talked me through how to access my emails via Virgin Media but I can't get them on my phone either using the mail app or the outlook app. My new outlook email account is supposed to be used to access my virgin media email but I just can't work out how I should set this up. I have tried and tried and have now wasted countless hours on this and really need my emails on my phone. Could someone please help me with what the settings should be pls?114Views0likes6CommentsCan’t add email to Outlook, IMAP wrong
Hi, I’ve several email accounts on my Outlook on my iPad. Sometimes it asks me to re-sign into an account. Never had a problem. But today it just keeps saying Invalid IMAP username/password. Several months ago Virgin changed how I logged into my media & email account. I have to use my gmail email address. ive tried all combinations of ntlworld or gmail addresses, along with gmail password for Virgin- no longer have password with Virgin for ntlworld address. Same invalid response. I got so frustrated I deleted account from Outlook so I could re-enter it from scratch, another thing I’ve never had trouble with. But same Invalid message! Email comes up as normal if I go online. But need to be able to easily see ntlworld emails. Can anybody help as I’ve run out of ideas…..used Virgin chat agents, but they don’t have a clueSolved2.4KViews1like5CommentsOutlook email connection issue today
I switched to "New" Outlook on my Windows 10 PC to read my VM blueyonder emails (plus gmail and outlook email accounts) months ago and all working perfectly until today. I have new emails in webmail but they are not appearing in Outlook. In addition when I create a new email in Outlook it will not send and any I try to send from VM webmail do not arrive in Outlook. I have checked all email settings. I tried to manage the blueyonder account in Outlook and selected Repair. Outlook came back with the message Unable to connect to your provider. I have not changed any settings or passwords anywhere. Is this a VM issue or MS?Solved1.9KViews0likes4CommentsUnable to access ntlworld emails this week
Hello, I've been unable to access my ntlworld inbox since yesterday afternoon. When I log into the Virgin Media Mail via the website I get a 'Forbidden' message. I mainly access my emails via Outlook on Windows 11 - do I need to do anything or is the VM server down? Thanks!963Views0likes4CommentsBlueyonder Email Not Working and Unable to Download to Outlook
I have a blueyonder email account which I have had for over 30 years. I was unable to receive or send emails and hte following error message appeared : "There was a problem signing in to your account. Enter your password again. If you've changed your password recently, make sure you enter the new password" I login to my blueyonder emails primarily on my PC and when I'm out on my mobile (via Microsoft Outlook). I followed the instructions on the virgin website: (i) created a new password - tried several times - failed (ii) used a new email address to login into my account to access my emails on line - tried several times - failed Called customer services and after 3 days they contacted me and I was able to log on to my blueyonder email on line using a gmail address online. I am unable to download my blueyonder emails to my PC using Microsoft Outlook 2010 or to Office 365. My partner also has a blueyonder email address on the same home account and they are not facing any difficulties. I called customer services once again and was promised that someone would call the next day and 5 days later no response! I need to be able to continue to download the emails from blueyonder.co.uk to outlook and asked if the SMTP and POP3 had changed as I had been unable to download emails since the 9th May 2024. She said she did not know what I was talking about and did not know how to resolve my issue and would contact me. Is there anyone else having similar difficulties with their blueyonder emails? How did you resolve it? I forgot to mention, the reason why I need to use Microsoft Outlook as opposed to the online version of the blueyonder account is that I have learning difficulties/disability and I use outlook to help me organise my inbox , set rules, colour coding etc which the blueyonder online does not offer. It is very limiting to any one with learning difficulties and learning disabilities.1.7KViews0likes2CommentsOutlook email settings (SMTP)
Hi, I recently had to change my password and since then I haven't been able to connect using Outlook (this is the "normal" outlook and not the new one). Outlook requires setting up for IMAP with settings for outbound (SMTP) and inbound (IMAP). i have entered these as per the guidelines and added the new password. The emails come in but the sync with SMTP doesnt work and gives an error message saying it hasn't authenticated. What can I do? Jill4.3KViews0likes9CommentsOutlook unable to send on one email
I use Windows 365 Outlook to manage my emails and have four email addresses, three of them are still working but one of the ntlworld addresses will not send an email, it just stays in the Outbox, it receives them OK. Using an iPhone or iPad this email address works OK. There are 57 synch issues with this address, I have used the inbuilt Repair function in Outlook and deleted the address and re-created it but nothing has changed. I cannot make any sense of the solutions to the synch problem that appear on the web. Any help would be appreciated.919Views0likes8Comments
