Hello. I recently joined Virgin. I never received an account number and my router was meant to be delivered 11 days ago. Support is unable to find my account, however sales were able to find it and said the previous tenant has an active order at the apartment. How can this be resolved, support are such a pain to go through each time as they can’t comprehend the situation. I have just signed up as a new customer for a broadband and to package that is arriving on Tuesday 17th December. I thought I'd best check up on the order status by making an account but seem to be having a couple of issues. I have received contract confirmation email (with two attachments). I am now trying to sign up for an online My Virgin Media account but cannot do so as I do not have an Account Number or Customer Area Reference as I never received any welcome email or information. I signed up last night, managed to link my o2 account to my virgin id account, then this morning once I got my virgin media email to confirm my account number and my area code, I tried to link my virgin media account to my virgin o2 id account and when it asks to confirm the email address linked to my virgin media account, it says it doesn’t match?? It 100% matches and it seems this is a common issue from my searches through the forum. before I get asked to create a new email and link that one, no. I will not be, as this is a bandaid fix to a problem you have with your system. Hi I need to change my mobile number as the last digit is incorrect. I’m not sure why as autofill is correct and I wouldn’t have put the digit it has at the end regardless. I also only got my broadband installed on Thursday and I’m already having an engineer out to sort it out as the broadband does not work even going through the online checks. Hello. I recently took out an order on Monday to join virgin media services. This was all done over the phone and I was not asked to provide an email address. As a result I have not received a welcome email and obviously don't have my first bill yet which means I don't know my account number / details. I want to track where my kit is as it is supposed to be delivered today but I have not received any texts to confirm this! Without knowing my account number I'm unable to call for help or even set up an online account or the app to check where my order is. Very frustrating and any help would be much appriciated. When I ring customer support, they ask for a customer number which I don't have because I haven't been sent anything. Hi, I have recently joined virgin media as a new customer, And after an error in delivery I am struggling to get any resolution or even updated feedback from anybody I contact. Was hoping if any help could be provided here before I cancel my contract before it even starts. I was due to receive the items for the package I signed up for (Broadband, TV, Phone) on 26/07/24, However on arrival I had only received the broadband hub and ethernet cable (Nothing else), I contacted virgin both by phone call (who cut me off) and messaging service who provided me with the following... No update, Tracking No. or further information was received, And more than 48hrs later... Nothing I contacted by chat again on Sunday 28/07/24, To be told this... And yet again, Nothing. No email confirmation, No tracking, Nothing listed in my orders, And Customer service refusing to give further information. Contacted virgin media again yesterday... I requested the call back, And surprise over 24 hrs later, Still Zero from virgin. My bill is due to be calculated soon, Which is already the double advertised price i signed for. And with still no sign of My TV and Phone items looks like I'm gonna miss out on at least a month of my 18th month contract deal as I'm due to travel soon. Seriously is the customer service always this bad?? Does anybody have any advice on how to resolve this issue fast or to speak to somebody who can actually give me answers, eg. I just purchased a package by Virgin Media and I have received all the contract details but my documents do not show any area reference or an account number - these parts of the contract were blank. I'm surprised that an account has not been created for me yet. I want to set up an online My Virgin Media account for things like managing the direct debit etc but I can't register or sign up until I have these details. Hi In the next few weeks I'll be moving to a part of the country where Virgin Media broadband is not available, so I will unfortunately have to end my cancel my connect. My connection is currently at my mother's place, where I've been staying while waiting for my house purchase to complete. As she is unhappy with her current broadband provider (NowTV), she has cancelled her contract with them and is looking for an alternative to sign up with and I'm wondering if it is possible for her to start a new contract with VM, to start the day that mine ends, so without a disconnection/reconnect period, or at least with minimal downtime if that is required. I'm currently out of contract with VM, as I knew at the time for renewal that I'd be moving in a few months, so there was no point in signing up to a contract only to break out of it a few months later. Does anyone know if it is possible to seamlessly switch between customer at the same address and additionally, if this is possible, will I need to return my VM Hub and my mother to recieve a new one, or can the same unit be used by a new customer. I understand that this would be an unusual arrangemment, so might not be accomodated by VM, but thought it worth asking if it could be.362Views0likes1Comment
