Internet For New Single Dwelling House
Hi there, I am currently building a house in the back garden of anlother property and am looking to get the internet infrastrcuture set up. My electrician has said I need someone from Virgin to visit the site to advise on how the existing infrastructure will be ducted into the house. I've rang Virgin a number of times but haven't been able to get an answer on how to get someone to visit the site. Could you please advise on what department/number to contact so I can get an engineer to visit the site? Any and all info would be hugely appreciated! I am moving to a new build estate in a month. I am having a VM broadband contract which I want to carry over to the new house. The developer informed me that VM has the infrastructure already set up in the development estate but my address is not available in the postcode finder. I've had a request in with the Field Sales Survey team for some time. I'm moving to a new build house shortly, "the estate is serviced by VM but an engineer needs to connect each house as/when they're complete". The words of the site manager, backed up by the fact the majority of the houses on the estate are available on the postcode checker. Proof as proof goes that the house is all but wired in by VM. My Unserviceable Homes request is seemingly untouched and call lines aren't able to provide me with any details. I'm desperately seeking information on when an engineer will get to my property, and what I'm to do regarding my account if they're not available until after we've moved in. Failing that, a general idea of how long it took for anyone else to get someone out to connect their new build property.New Build Virgin
Hi I have called over the last week or so to try and sort my broadband. I have a new build house that has a virgin box outside and it is definitely serviceable. Nowhere does it say my address on the website or over the phone. I’ve spoken to 4 different people. The last one saying to contact national home builders within virgin but I can’t get through.
