Moving to a new build not shown in postcode finder

I am moving to a new build estate in a month. I am having a VM broadband contract which I want to carry over to the new house. The developer informed me that VM has the infrastructure already set up in the development estate but my address is not available in the postcode finder.

Please advise me on how to secure a seamless transition of broadband service. Thanks.

Do other properties on the new estate have VM connections? Worth a drive around and asking a few questions ?

Developers will be economical with the truth - they are trying to sell properties - for example VM may have the infrastructure in place for on the new build estate - but not able to accept expanded connectivity at that location for the foreseeable future.

Just because the developer has put in cables suitable for Virginmedia doesn't mean that Virginmedia can or will ever connect to them.

When you inspected the property did you see any VM faceplates or Openreach faceplates ?

Yes, so I am sure VM has planned to provide service at my house.
