Unable to reset password
I have been logged out of my emails on my phone, when I gone to enter the password nothing I put in is correct. Went to the virgin website to do 'forgotten password' I put in my email which is a virgin email date of birth & answer to my security question, double and triple checked everything is correct but it constantly tells me something is wrong and I can't change my password. There's no option to verify another way. Called Virgin and wasn't too helpful. All of the info is 100% correct as I used my memorable word when I called, so I'm at a loss of how I can get back into my account? So currently have no access to my e mail or VM account. Has anyone had the same issue and been able to fix it or could someone provide some help?40Views0likes2CommentsSeeminlgy locked out of account?
Hello, I went to check my e mail this morning as I do every morning and for some reason I was logged out of my account, it's always logged in and has never randomly logged out before. I went to sign back in but the passwords I tried didn't work so I clicked on 'forgotten password', I put in my email (which is an @ntlworld.com e mail), date of birth & answer to my security question, double and triple checked everything is correct but it constantly tells me something is wrong and I can't change my password. All of the info is 100% correct so I'm at a loss of how I can get back into my account? So currently have no access to my e mail or VM account. Has anyone had the same issue and been able to fix it or could someone provide some help? TIA!124Views0likes6CommentsResetting Password or recovery email address on secondary account
We have been trying to reset the password on my son’s @ntlworld.com account very unsuccessfully. We have tried the “verify another way” and the verification email is one that we don’t recognise and therefore have no access to. Having spent over an hour on the phone again today being passed around various departments there still seems to be no one that can correct what could be a fraudulent verification email in an attempt to block my son’s access to his email! We have tried recovery codes and they haven’t worked, it has been escalated (again) to the “IT Department” Has anyone else got any suggestions??104Views0likes5CommentsHelp! How to access account settings for secondary email address
We have two 'ntlworld.com' email addresses that have always in the past been linked to our Virgin broadband/TV/phone account (that is still active) - one I use, one my wife uses. When I log in with the new Virgin/O2 ID, my ntlworld email is linked to the account and I can access my inbox in a browser (the webmail), and I can see ways to manage that email address (e.g. generate app passwords). However, my wife's ntlworld email is now not linked to my VMO2 ID and I can't see a way to add it. My wife has registered for a Virgin/O2 ID using the 3rd party email address that she used to login with but there seems to be no way to link that to her ntlworld account through the options in the Virgin/O2 ID settings. The only option I can see is to transfer the VMO2 ID link from our broadband account to her VMO2 ID which would then mean I have the problem she currently has but on my ntlworld.com email address! Is there a way that Virgin staff can link two ntlworld.com accounts to one Virgin broadband/TV/phone account? I have seen a few posts on here that seem to suggest people are still able to get e.g. app passwords for secondary accounts, but no clues as to how to access those settings. (BTW: access to the secondary email inbox via Apple Mail and iPhone mail app is currently working, but my big concern is what if something goes wrong - we currently have no way of generating a new app password for that secondary email!) Thanks in advance for any help you can provide. I tried the VM chat but the support staff seemed to not be able to understand what I was trying to ask.Solved269Views0likes11CommentsBlueyonder Webmail - 403 Forbidden
Went to use the webmail yesterday for my blueyonder account as i suspect i might have something stuck in the junk folder. Can't access it, getting a 403 Forbidden error message. Same just now. Tried on multiple browsers on a pc and also on my iphone, all the same. Anyone else getting the same ? ETA for a resolution ?54Views0likes3CommentsVirgin.net email - password incorrect
I have 3 devices (one Windows desktop, one iPad and an iphone) all accessing the same virgin.net email account. For the past week I have been unable to access my email account on my iPhone. The message i get is 'Password Incorrect'. I am able to access mail on my desktop and iPad. Any ideas please. I've tried in vain to talk or get help from Virgin Media who appear to have washed their hands of any email issues. The 150 number doesn't work and the 0345 454 1111 number is a robot who doesn't resister @email' as a problem. Thank you.99Views0likes5CommentsVIRGIN ON THE RIDICULOUS
What on earth ARE you doing VIRGIN? Your EMail system is in total disarray! We have three laptops, all up to date on Windows 11 and all using Outlook to access. Each one is now suddenly treating the connection very differently! Only one is now working to a virginmedia mail address, so forget it being only a legacy address issue. That one also still currently works to a very busy ntlworld address used for Freeware user contact. The other two have totally differing actions from the same virginmedia address, one now telling me there is unread mail, but not displaying it on Outlook OR online web access. This does not include one ntlworld connection severed without warning a year ago now, Despite numerous requests, NO help given, NOTHING offered. This was my wife's account used for extensive volunteer work, inc elderly and disabled people access. Killed stone dead without warning. It took months to get an alternative EMail system working elsewhere as many mail recipients just could not cope with the no warning sudden loss of all comms. SO, from other posts here and elsewhere numerous people are increasingly experiencing this sort of disaster from VIRGIN. Well, there IS a next stage if this unhelpful lack of action continues, and that is to go VERY public. Virgin customers might like to be aware that I have in another location due no cable available have SKY inc SKY EMail. Its been faultless.342Views1like16CommentsNeed an email address removed
We left Virgin media a very long time ago and my email is still active. I've been informed that that email address has been compromised and various accounts that are still registered to that email address have been compromised also and I need the email address deleting to stop any further issues. Email address is [REMOVED] [MOD EDIT: Personal information removed]49Views0likes1CommentManaging multiple @blueyonder.co.uk accounts
I have an active Virgin Media account (I'm a broadband customer), and for years have had four @blueyonder.co.uk email addresses used by myself and three other family members associated with that account. All four accounts are regularly used. After the transition to VMO2, I've linked my new VMO2 ID to my Virgin Media account. I'm able to manage my (the primary) @blueyonder.co.uk email account app password through https://www.virginmediao2.co.uk/identity/id-settings/my-accounts using ID Settings->Virgin Media Account->Manage email app password. However, I can't see any way to manage the @blueyonder.co.uk email accounts used by my other family members (e.g. to change the app password). Some of those family members have their own VMO2 IDs (because they're O2 mobile customers), but unless I'm wrong it doesn't seem possible to link those IDs to the single common household Virgin Media account which I manage, and hence there seems no way for those members to manage their own @blueyonder.co.uk app password. Help! Surely there must be a way to do this.200Views0likes10CommentsAnother ntlworld user locked out of email
As with the many, many other reports on here, I cannot access my ntlworld email account via outlook, iphone. I can still get in for now via a browser. This is 100% a VM created problem - unless you're suggesting hundreds of unconnected people around the country all getting the same problem at the same time is a coincidence? What is being done on the VM side to resolve this?88Views0likes4Comments
