Linking Virginmedia.com email address

Hello all,

I've read through various posts and can't find anything that is the same situation.

I have a virginmedia.com email address which I used to use to log into My Virgin Media. The email address is in use and still working fine in an email app. Last year, I was prompted to change to an external email address for log un so used Gmail as the log in. My virginmedia.com email address is still working fine through an email app.

A few months ago, I set up the virginmediaO2 account when prompted. It said it would link my virginmedia.com email account but never has. The email still works fine through an email app but I can't log in through webmail. I also don't have it listed under Identity Settings.

I'm really at a loss how to sort it and I'm worried that my virginmedia.com email address is floating around unattached to any account and gets shut down without warning.

Any help would be gratefully received.

    When you set up the VMO2ID account did you use the Gmail address that was the username for your VM email?  If not that could explain why it is not picking up the email address.

      Yes, I did. My whole VMO2ID account is fine, picked up phone and broadband info but just not the virgin email address.

        When you try to access the email account at mail.virginmedia.com what error message do you get.  Remember you need to log in with the VMO2 ID and password not the virginmedia email address concerned.
