Business address to Residential - help please?
My friend has been a Virgin Media customer for many years, so when she moved home this week, she called to transfer her service to her new address. She has been advised that her address is listed as a business address but offered no help as to how to resolve this. The postcode checker listed other adjacent flats in her block but not her specific flat number. Is there anyone who can advise how to resolve this please? Just got my package to upgrade from TiVo to 360. Couple of things I need to understand. When does the 5 days deadline for setup start? From delivery? Does the 360 box need the ethernet connection to the hub or can it connect via WiFi? My hub is in a different room. Do I have to use the hdmi cable provided or can leave the one in I used with my TiVo box. I was not supplied with a 360 mini box. I think it I'd only need one for a second TV is that true? I signed up for a package today as a customer and chose well in advance for delivery on the 18th of June. I have since got an email from VM stating that date cannot be done, and rather than bring it forward which makes more sense, they have pushed it back meaning I will have no access to internet for approx 3 days, because they changed the date without giving me options. I had this email from them from webteam@virginmedia.co.uk: We're sending your QuickStart install pack very soon, but unfortunately we can’t give you the slot you picked on our website. It'll now arrive with you on <22 june 2024> between 8am and 9pm. If you gave us your contact details, our delivery partner Yodel will text and/or email you with a 2 hour estimated delivery slot on the day. Can anyone help from the VM forum team or does anyone have a contact number I can ring to request an earlier delivery? (Or does emailing back webteam@virginmedia.co.uk go to a team who can help?)
