No Account Number or Welcome Email
Hello. I recently took out an order on Monday to join virgin media services. This was all done over the phone and I was not asked to provide an email address. As a result I have not received a welcome email and obviously don't have my first bill yet which means I don't know my account number / details. I want to track where my kit is as it is supposed to be delivered today but I have not received any texts to confirm this! Without knowing my account number I'm unable to call for help or even set up an online account or the app to check where my order is. Very frustrating and any help would be much appriciated. I have just signed up as a new customer for a broadband-only package that was meant to arrive yesterday (17th Nov). I thought I'd best check up on the order status by making an account but seem to be having a couple of issues. I have received an order confirmation email and an order documents email (with two attachments). I am now trying to sign up for an online My Virgin Media account but cannot do so as I do not have an Account Number or Customer Area Reference. I can see there is space for these two numbers on my Contract Information Sheet but the fields are blank. When I set up my contract I never received an email or an account number or area reference. I then later recieved a text message from virgin telling me that my email address no longer existed so i had to register but I cannot make one due to having no account number or area reference. After about 30 mins on the phone about a month ago I managed to get through to an actual human and I explained my situation and was told that a letter would be sent to my address with a code to be able to set up my account over the phone. I still have not received this eventhough I was told i would receive the letter within a week. Also, my direct debit is no longer working to pay so I now have to make payments over the phone and I have to pay £7 more each time as they give me a late fee. I am so unhappy with my experience that has been ongoing for months.Account number and Area ref
Hello I've had my 500mbps internet installed on the 17th January but have not received no welcome email or letter with my account number on it. The last time I was on here (for a different issue) I was told I would receive an email about my bill on the 29th January which would have my account number and area ref number on it but I haven’t received it. Is there any other way of getting my account number and area ref number so I can make a virgin media account so I can manage my bills and direct debit. Hello. Where can I find my account number? I have never had a welcome pack or any paper, electronic bills, only a text that my virgin kit is sent. I didn't pay any bills yet because I'm new to Virgin, so my bills will start in June/July. I have broadband and SIM card. I spoke several times with my Virgin advisor, and he keeps telling me that the email should be sent i have to have already I did an online chat with other advisors, supports they claim the same thing and yet I cannot get my account number and contract that I agree on. Please help me. I chose Virgin Media because everyone seems so happy with them and keep recommending them, yet I struggle with the same technical issues as other broadbands that I used to use. Hello, Virgin Media I am a new customer of virgin media as of december 2021 and registered via a phone for a 18 month contract with you. However, I have never received a welcome email or details of my account number from you. I would like to receive a welcome email as soon as possible and get this sorted as some of my personal details will also need to be changed since registering with you. I have recently tried to ring up but the phone keeps on getting disconnected and I would really like to set up my virgin media online account as well.
