Ntlworld email mystery
Can anyone explain how: My ntlworld email is working fine on iOS client - can both send and receive mail With outlook client on Windows PC I can receive mail but not send i cannot access the webmail client at all - just keeps telling me it’s an error at their end I’ve had most of these errors over time but this strikes me as an unusual combination! Hi, Since yesterday morning my ntlworld account has not been working, I assumed it was the same issue as everyone else was having but I still have no emails still today. The address is a secondary account so I got the account holder to call today as they wont speak to me, they said that the email address has been deleted!! Apparently it has been in the news so we should know about it.... if that is true its is absolutely scandalous that VM have not contacted me before deleting an email account that is over 20 years old. I was on the phone with a virgin media rep, and he said that they had turned off the ntlworld email server so that all ntlworld email accounts would stop working unless you contacted tech support to keep the email live Is this right, as have not had any contact about this?150Views0likes8CommentsAccount login issues (ntlworld email)
I'm going round the bend here!!! I'm unable to login to my VM account despite numerous attempts. We have a number of ntlworld email accounts and as I was unable to login via our usual ntlworld address I chose one of the others. After a password reset and also providing a 3rd party email address I was able to login ONCE. Next time I tried it didn't recognise the email address I'd just used. I've gone through this process quite a few times in the past 2 days and I'm getting pretty annoyed with it now. Whenever I put my ntlworld email address and password in the boxes it states "Your email or password was incorrect. Please try again or go back to change your email." I was wanting to watch the footie via my laptop yesterday but I couldn't because the SkySports Virgin Media sign in wasn't recognising me.
