Outlook email help
Trying to get help on behalf of my mum for email access. Historically she had a blueyonder email address. A while ago virgin stated she had to create an outlook email address. Had some teething problems but managed to keep logged in to my virgin media and email. They stated even if people emailed to blueyonder it would still be received at the outlook address. This seemed to happen. Not sure if it’s worth noting, but she’s always had trouble accessing outlook address through outlook and can only see emails through my virgin media. Recently it’s logged her out and she can’t get back in. She enters the username for my virgin media and it won’t accept the password, so clicks on forgot password, which then sends a verification code to her outlook email which she can’t access. We chatted through WhatsApp to someone who referred it to IT but have heard nothing. Hope my explanation makes sense if anyone can help? Wondering if there is anyone who can help me out - my dad has dementia and is locked out of his blueyonder email account and subsequently unable to access his virgin account. It's no longer in use but there are many payments linked to the email acct, as well as the virgin TV, Internet, etc. subscription. I know that blueyonder and Virgin are linked in some way but that's about as close as I've managed to get in untangling this mess and I've not managed to get ahold of anyone from Virgin to speak to about it. I have power of attorney but there don't seem to be any readily accessible resources on handling this. If anyone has any experience with this, advice, or even contacts I can speak to, I would appreciate any help :) this is hard to deal with and it's even harder to get big companies to pay attention to us little folk! Hello I have a new phone and cannot access my blueyonder or virginmedia email addresses. I have forgotten the passwords, and when following the help on website for forgotten passwords, it goes not recognise the accounts, they are both sub accounts, and now not showing on the main account. I have today changed my password for my VM Account (3rd Party email client address) and created a new (3rd Party email client address) and password for my Wifes new VM Account. I have also changed my ******@ntlworld.com app password for my desktop Outlook and phone email apps using the auto generate password for both myself and my wife. In desktop outlook I have changed the paswords for both our *****ntlworld.com email accounts and this works fine (send & receive). I have changed the password on my mobile phone email client and again that works fine. I tried changing the password on my wifes mobile phone (same make & model) but keep getting a message "Couldnt Verify Account" "The username or password is incorrect or POP3/IMAP access isnt turned on for this account. Check your email account settings on the web and try again" I have tried this on the web now using my wifes 3rd Party email client address and its associated password - but i get a window reply "Oops you can't do that right now ...................... etc etc". Ive tried this accessing my own web mail page but also get the same message. Very frustrating when we changed the passwords for security reasons..... I hvae gone through the forgotten password route, but the moment I put in the new password I get stuck with a request in progress loop that so far has been going on for 10 minutes! Hello, I am trying to help my mum out resetting her email password - she has continued to use her original @ntlworld.com email from way back and has only ever had access to this email address through the Apple Mail app on her iPhone. Unfortunately, there was some kind of error in the Apple Mail app and she was signed out. She has attempted to sign back in but is unable to do so as she has forgotten her password for her email address. I have tried to access her mailbox through the Virgin Media online portal but this was met with an error message saying that her emails cannot be displayed. She has a number of very important emails that she quickly needs to gain access to - She does not have a linked/related virgin media email account and has no other email accounts. This email address is also the one she has used to sign up to everything in her life (banking, subscriptions etc), so not having access is a major issue/headache for her. My question is, how do I go about recovering her email NTL World email account? I am reluctant to do anything until I have the process confirmed because I’m nervous about somehow permanently locking her out of her NTL World account (I’m aware that VM stopped supporting NTL World email addresses or something?). Any help would be enormously appreciated. Suddenly last week all my devices decided I needed to login again, but the password wasn't accepted. Upon attempting to log into my 'My Virgin Media' account, it repeatedly said my password was incorrect so I requested a password reset link but despite trying multiple times over the course of an hour on different devices and browsers it has still not arrived. Hi really hoping from virgin can help with this because the call centre can’t. Father was account holder and had 1 ntlworld email address. Passed away, got account transferred to spouse. Spouse was asked to set up new email (virgin media) address to associate to with account transferred to her. Father’s email address was kept live as spouse decided to use it rather than the new one she had as his was the one they both used and the address all friends and family held. Father’s email and computer with email account on continue to be used without any problems. Computer is now being replaced and so need to set up but need email account password. The password reset online says the email address is not recognised (despite the fact it is still used to this day for sending and receiving), so can’t password reset link. Called customer services and nobody can seem to locate his email address, despite it being live, despite it going through virgin’s services, etc, so nobody can reset it. Somebody somewhere must know where the email address is and how it is hosted and then someone must be able to get a password reset issued to allow the address to be awry up on a new computer and a mobile phone? Hello There - I'm posting here I've seen similar messages with the same problem. I'm trying to log in to my account, but I can't remember the password info and the message pops up 'Please enter original email'. We've been with Virgin for years and the original email is a long since defunct Ntlworld one. We can't password reset from that. VM send the bills to my email, and a recent customer survey to our joint email - but I can't log in to view our current package. A little help?
