Can you tell which mobile operators are deemed to be non UK - I seem to think it includes Lebara which is now a very popular operator? SolvedRe: Early Exclusive Contract Renewal It would seem that messaging the community is similar to getting information from Virgin on the phone................nothing Early Exclusive Contract Renewal My contract isn't due for renewal until the end of Feb 2025 but I have received a few emais with a renewal offer. Having reviewed the offer I had a couple of questions e.g. there is no mention of the 2nd box or Netflix in the offer. I phoned support and they firstly said it was too early for an offer and it might be a scam. They have nothing on their systems regarding this offer. After noting that the email address looked genuine she advised that I should click through and accept the offer!! This is confusing as I have a couple of enquiries but don't know who to ask? Has anybody else had this problem? Virgin 360 Remote in the Post? I received an email offering the upgrade to 360 and an upgrade button has appeared in Apps. Do I need to contact customer services to receive the new remotes or will they just arrive in the post? Will any of my existing boxes need to be replaced? Will I receive 2 remotes? SolvedRe: Cancel O2 sim and Keep VM deal Having 2 company's handling one contract is a disaster. According to the answer above if you had cancelled your O2 sim then if you had a VM volt package it would need to be renegotiated to a probably higher price. My volt package assumes an O2 sim at £25 (soon to be 29.32), should I change to ~ £10 per month hopefully it wont cause a negotiation either now or when my current contract expires. Re: Cancel O2 sim and Keep VM deal Thanks for the reply. Like most people when starting the contract I didn't think too much about the incredibly high cost of the sim and looked at the overall cost. Now that the Virgin cost is/will be increasing from £64 to £85.5 (inflation????) and the sim from £25 to £29.32 it has brought into focus the now high overall cost. Re: Cancel O2 sim and Keep VM deal It appears the options are: Cancel VM and O2 penalty free - although there are reports that O2 are refusing to cancel penalty free Keep VM but can negotiate with O2 from the very costly new price of £29.32 unlimited to £10 for 8GB but need to agree a new 2 year contract I don't know if you can reduce VM package e.g. to a non volt and cancel O2 This has become very complicated with 2 firms contradicting each other. One company they are not Cancel O2 sim and Keep VM deal Got an email stating I can cancel the O2 sim and Virgin media due to the recent price increase. Can I cancel only the O2 sim and keep my current VM deal which expires in October? Solved
