We’re moving to a new platform as our agreement with the current provider is ending. This migration will take a little while as we move everything over. The community will switch to read‑only next week before going offline for a bit. We’re also taking this opportunity to bring the Virgin Media and O2 communities together. Our aim is to merge as much as we can - posts, stats, member accounts, the lot. Thanks so much for everything you’ve contributed so far. From me and the whole community team, we really appreciate it - and we’ll see you on the other side! PS Whilst we're away, our team can still support you: 📞 Call: 150 or 0345 454 1111 💬 WhatsApp: 07803 089684 📘 Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/virginmedia/ 📸 Instagram: VirginMedia You can find additional ways to get in touch here: 👉 http://virg.in/contactvm Imminent Community Upgrade we’re planning a major upgrade to our community platform Re: Imminent Community Upgrade It was the category page when you clicked the main 'Broadband & Phone' link but I've managed to find a bit of a workaround 🙂, it should have the links now. Thanks, Re: Imminent Community Upgrade Thanks Client62 - it's because underneath they are still in separate categories. I'm intending on updating the structure that sits underneath at some point or we could break the navigation out separately into Broadband and Phone like previously if it causes confusion. I concur with your some of your points alphaomega16 and I've raised them as improvement requests with Khoros. Thanks, Re: Imminent Community Upgrade Yeah, it's a heavily customised version of Khoros Classic - at the front end it's displayed as 'Likes' to the user but at the backend Khoros labels it as 'Kudos' whereas for Aurora the backend they are labelled as 'Likes' as well. Hope that makes sense! In terms of editing, the reason why we've switched it off here is that the use of edit bypasses some of our moderation filters. From what I understand with Aurora it comes with some spam enhancements so I'm happy to test again. Thanks, Re: Imminent Community Upgrade Cardiffman282 wrote: There is an official guide here. It appears that Sky has already made the leap. The Sky Community still based upon Khoros Classic 😊. Thanks, Some important information if you have a Virgin Media email account No longer a Virgin Media customer? We’ll be contacting you soon to close your Virgin Media email account Changing your Direct Debit date If you’ve recently changed your Direct Debit date, your next bill amount may be a little lower or higher than usual Introducing Flex - the new name for Stream from Virgin Media Hello all, Stream from Virgin Media customers may have noticed a message in recent bills advising of an upcoming name change to their service. We can confirm that from today it will be called Flex. There is nothing to worry about, and this won’t affect your service in any way - you will still be able to enjoy your favourite entertainment in exactly the same way as you do today, and any subscriptions you have added will be unaffected. Your equipment (TV box) will still be known as the Stream Box. As a result of this change, you will now see Flex on your bills, and areas of your account view within My Virgin Media will be renamed too (E.g. “My Flex Plan”). Interested in adding Flex to your broadband service? Head to Virgin Media | Broadband & Cable Deals - See What You Can Do to find out more Thanks, Re: Virgin community emails going straight to spam folder No further forward I'm afraid but still working on it, they'd like us to setup a subdomain first before reconfiguring the settings. They don't fully support sender addresses that share a domain with our top-level domain or community domain for that matter. Thanks,
