No longer a Virgin Media customer? We’ll be reaching out to you soon, if we haven’t already, to close your Virgin Media email account as outlined in our terms and conditions.

Virgin Media email accounts are usually closed within 90 days of the Virgin Media broadband service being disconnected, but in some circumstances, we have missed a few.

If your email account is marked as active but you don't have any core products with us, we’ll get in touch to let you know next steps. Please keep an eye on your spam/junk folder as our emails may end up there.

We’ve put together some tips on how to save your emails and how to set up a new email account to help you sooner rather than later – just click the link below to find out how.

  • I am somewhat confused as I am a customer but I don't seem to have a Virgin Media email address anymore, I'm sure I did, but never used it.

No new users within the past 3 years or so, have been given a VM email address, so it's quite possible you never had one.   VM now use the users 3rd party email address for communication, e.g. Gmail, Outlook etc.

  • Why anyone would still us an ISP provided email address is beyond me when there is better options for free email from Google & Microsoft.

They are not "free" Kevin. Google hires about 200,000 staff. If you don't pay Google, who does?

Google scans all your emails and creates a profile so they can sell you ads on all their products (YouTube, Gmail, search engine, etc.). It's the same with Microsoft.

If you don't pay for something, you are the product. It's the same with anything online where you believe it's free, yet a company cashes in $48 bn (like Facebook - as you don't pay for it).
