Sorted now Re: Advanced Security Query Thanks Tom When I use that link it always takes me the to my ( existing FSec account via Virgin £25 per annum) regardless if I register or log in. There is no further option via this route for Account Security. Can I register under another virgin email account to access the upgraded offer? Advanced Security Query For the last few years I have subscribed to and used My FSec which was recommended by Virgin many years ago, I note that Virgin media are promoting Advanced Security currently also via Fsec. Are these products one and the same? The reason I ask is when I tried to sign up for Advanced Security from My Virgin Media account it takes me to my existing My Fsec account which is limited to 5 subscriptions. Advanced Security seems to offer a larger number of subscriptions and I am struggling to make any headway in resolving this or if indeed its an upgrade, any help would be gratefully received and appreciated. thanks, Alex SolvedRe: Hi, my AVG app has warned me that my router may have been hacked. Many thanks to the posters who responded, deeply appreciated. In short, DMZ was disabled and still is. There were 2 ring extenders that did nothing and have now been removed. AVG package up for renewal soon 😜 Reset router and rescanned, all appears good again. Many thanks to all 👍 Hi, my AVG app has warned me that my router may have been hacked. Hi, AVG notifing me that my network/router has a problem. Warned under something called "man in the middle " protocol. Suggests a firmware update or to use a VPN. Previous repeated scans have been fine. Any suggestions as to fix this thanks. SolvedRe: Secondary email password issue Many thanks to Steven_L for his assistance and patience in resolving my issue 👍 Secondary email password issue Hi I have tried to set up my wife's virginmedia email account on her new phone. The email is a secondary account from our main virgin media one however we cannot remember the password. I tried a link provided in another thread but I cannot remember the memorable place (must have been really good eh!!) I have tried support from the overseas call centre also but the only solution they offered was to give them a 3rd party email address to reset the password. My main account is already a 3rd party email (been here before sadly). the email works fine on her old phone just wish it worked on the new one. Why cant the solution be sent to the primary email account? if there are security concerns I would think accessing my secondary email would hardly be a hackers objective if he had access to the main account. There was also some confusion as to whether a new 3rd party email would resolve my issue or change my main account, the young lady didn't convince me when I asked her this. Any help or guidance would be gratefully appreciated. Many thanks
