As is said that same message over the weekend, but there's no news of work in progress by VM etc??? @Client62 Intermittent signal in my area, want to book an engineer I now have this too, and I've given it longer than 24 hours to check back. My website account area won't allow me to book an engineer like it usually does, and I'm not ringing up being on hold forever. Please can a VM staff respond on here to look to get me an engineer booked in please. Done all the usual reset / diagnostic stuff before you even think about going down that basic route. PLEASE HELP VIRGIN MEDIA Re: Intermittent signal in my area, want to book an engineer I now have this too, and I've given it longer than 24 hours to check back. Re: How to contact retentions team Hi @Steven_L Yes it's on the contract offer paperwork, but as I'm sure you can appreciate when you're trying to have a good read of that whilst being on during a phone call, it's is by no means easy to spot (it wasn't expected either). I compared absolutely everything I could whilst reading it over, within reason, given the Virgin Media staff kept asking me continually are you now ready to sign etc etc. I would prefer no Ads Yes, however given the fact there was no mention of this change to me, I would hope VM could as a gesture of goodwill switch this back on within my package for no additional cost. Does that seem fair and reasonable given the circumstances? Thanks Re: How to contact retentions team I finally managed to get through after a week, to the retentions team. How naughty and sneaky is this though... No mention on the call that Virgin Media have changed the standard Netflix plan that's included. Just had this email ti my surprise... STANDARD WITH ADVERTS??? Can someone from Virgin Media apologise and advise why i wasn't informed of this during my call earlier today with retentions.?? Re: How to contact retentions team Hi I can't het through though, been stuck on hold all 3 times I've attempted it's rediculous and my landline phone battery runs out (even when on full charge before you say) ny time I get through. Then, another on hold endless frustration cycle of put through to retentions. Please do something to help me, this is utterly rediculous. All I'm wanting to do is have a discussion over my package at contract renewal point (i.e.now, you've already taken payment for £60 higher today) and then agree it going forward. It really is as simple as that. I'm in financial hardship anf cannot afford £60 higher payments, yet I'm unable to speak to anyone??? PLEASE HELP Re: How to contact retentions team Hi @Daniel_Et I am in exactly the same situation, please can you arrange for me to be called by the UK retentions team / department please. There is no option on the switchboard gor retentions. Please contact me for a number, privately. Thanks
