Parental controls not working
Good day, I have an issue with parental controls not working, I have tried pretty much everything I can think of as in the following Toggled the settings off and on again Reboot all devices and router Reset the router through the pin hole Checked DNS Spoke to customer support on chat who just say the settings are on and we have refreshed the settings wait 24 hours but nothing changes and I get the same outcome of not working. The outcome of it not working is the same if I do it via the app or the website. This is pretty frustrating as I have always had the settings set to on but all of a sudden they don't work? Does anyone know a fix to this as customer support seems to only have one idea and that's the " we have refreshed your setting just wait 24 hours " TIAPorn site not blocked
WARNING: NSFW Although I have porn sites blocked (and confirmed since common sites are blocked too), I have found a site that is unblocked. If I visit the site in the English version, then it is blocked. However if I visit it in the original Russian version, then Virgin Media allows it through for some reason. The site is: [removed] I am requesting that you guys simply just add the site to the banned porn list, as I can’t ban this site specifically since I am not the owner of my household router. I recently moved house and had my services moved with me. However, I've noticed many websites (e.g. (http://nordvpn.com) are blocked stating that the Parental Controls are currently On. When I check my Virgin Media account, this (along with Virus Protection) have definitely been toggled off. Can someone help me with this?WebSafe Parental Controls not working
Hi there - like a few other people are reporting my Websafe "Parental Controls" don't appear to be working. They are switched on in the My Virgin Media Online Security page, but websites are not being blocked that should be. I have checked my DNS is correct, and switched off and back on the Parental Controls, and rebooted the router, but the problem still exists. Please advise how this can be resolved. I have just joined virgin fibre and cannot find anything on the app regarding parental controls or any control over what my children see. I have two options when I go to my account, one is account details and the other is to add a fingerprint. There is no option for any parental controls or online settings it is completely missing. Hi Virgin Media, I am unable to block specific websites in the Online Security section of my account. When i add URLs to the section "Add websites that you always want parental controls to block access to" and click on the save button i get the below message: "Sorry the changes you made were not saved, please try again Can someone at virgin please review and fix it?Remove Adverts and PIN
Will there ever be a way of paying extra to remove ads on VOD? I would happily pay like £3-£5 extra a month so I don't have to fast forward 4 times within one episode. I already have to type in a PIN to watch the next episode each time, which I can't turn off - even though there is not a child in sight in my home. It's funny to me that there is an ad campaign at the moment to "binge-watch your favourite TV series on Virgin" but it is made so painful by both of these things! Pretty much all other streaming services already offer disabling ads and PINs. Please please PLEASE look into this!!!!
