That facility is broken. There are regular complaints on here from users, but VM seem unable or unwilling to fix it.

Thanks for reaching out to us KCAGNEY, and welcome back to our Community Forums!
Sorry to hear of the issues you've been facing when trying to block X via web browser on your connection.
Can you please attempt to clear the cache on the browser you're using and giving this another try to see if this can go through for you as expected?
Thanks,

Hi david. It's not a matter of the cache, the website itself does not regard x.com to be a valid URL, presumably because it is too short.

The easiest way is setup a Pi-hole – Network-wide Ad Blocking under Home - Linux Mint or Ubuntu Desktop PC operating system | Ubuntu (A harder way is Bind with Mint) this would mean the device then needs to point to it for DNS can not be done on the hub or use modem mode and your own router.
Of course this only works if secure DNS is not used

Hi, unfortunately I don't have a Pi, any knowledge of how to use Linux, or frankly, understand any of the terminology or abbreviations on those links, so I dearly hope that's not the easiest option!

VM staff know this is broken, it's been reported so many times. They just give the same useless advice to everyone who complains.
