WiFi Hub not arrived after 2 attempts
I have ordered the hub twice now and we still have had no delivery The first time I ordered it when signing the contract and everything looked fine, we got a message from yodel telling us it was on the way and it would arrive on Sep 1 at 18:35, we had 4 people in the house all day and had no knock at the door. Yodel claimed they had delivered the parcel but left no photo or any notes. We checked with our neighbours who also hadn't received it. I called Virgin on Sep 3rd and they confirmed they had the correct address and they said they had re-ordered another hub for us and it would take 3-5 days. I waited and then called again on Sep 8th as it had not arrived and I was told to wait longer and that I would only know what day it was going to arrive on that same day via email and I just had to hope that somebody was in the house that day. It's now Sep 12th and I haven't had any emails or texts about its delivery, I'm not even 100% sure if it's on the way. I'm not sure what else to do now. If anyone could please help that would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks, EdPre-contract docs approved but no contract or delivery?
I've seen a few older discussions on the same issue. I ordered a new broadband connection on the 27th July, due to be delivered for self install on 2nd August. Since then, nothing has happened... I have the order confirmation email, but no contract and no attempt was made to deliver router. Early I visited an O2 / Virgin shop to try and see what the issue is. The assistant said she couldn't find my order and that nothing was showing up on the system. She has just setup a new contract for me, which has triggered the exact same emails and documents that I already had from last week. I'm now worried I have two contracts. Additionally, she's input the wrong date for the setup kit to be delivered for this one. If anyone from Virgin could help or point me in the right direction please. Hi, I'm looking to start a Virgin Media Broadband subscription for a flat that I've purchased and am moving into on 6th August once the sale has completed. I don't currently have a Virgin Media subscription and never have, but when I go to purchase it says "As a Virgin Media account already exists here, we may need to delay sending your kit for a few days while we settle this account." My question is, if I place an order now, will the current owners of the property have their account terminated immediately, or will it be terminated on 6th August when I move in and will my service begin on this date? I obviously don't want to leave them without internet until the date of my move! I'd like for my broadband subscription to start immediately on 6th August as I'll need it for work, but not sure if it's best for me to order now, or to ask the current occupants to terminate their subscription and order once they've had their subscription cancelled. Also the price of the Gig1 service has randomly increased by £5/month since yesterday, there was no mention of a specific sale happening at the time, so do Virgin just randomly change prices on a daily basis? It was £30.99/month two days ago, then £29.99/month yesterday, and now it's up to £34.99/month. Thanks!Unable to register account as login crashes & change delivery date
Hi, I have tried to create an account through the welcome however every time I try to create a password my browser gets stuck and times out/crashes. Is there a solution that I can use? I also have ordered the VM router to arrive at my new place however there will be no one at the property to receive it on the delivery date. Is there a way to change the delivery date? Been trying to set up VM for a new place being moved into, New place has had VM in the past so no installation required, just plugging in, No-one is currently at the address to be installed, Asked VM sales to send to current address instead, which was confirmed, Tracking Order shows the installation address instead, Phoned up multiple times and each time the agent confirms to send the package to the current address, Inevitably, they keep trying to deliver to the installation address where no-one currently resides Is this an automated process that the agents cannot control?23Views0likes1CommentIssue with kit getting delivered through yodel
I am a new customer to VM and was due to receive my parcel yesterday 04/02/2025. Had a delivery window, could see on the tracking that the parcel was literally 3 stops away… the tracking changed “we need more info about your address, please contact us” it turned out after talking to yodel that “the driver couldn’t find my address on the sat-nav” so the delivery wasn’t successful and I still haven’t received my parcel. I don’t live at a new build and if you enter my postcode and door number into a mapping app then the address does come up, so i don’t understand what the issue is. Yodel just kept telling me that my parcel would arrive today and to be patient… it didn’t arrive today and now my parcel is back at my local depot. HelpIt’s been far too long now..
Ordered my TV package on 24th of November with a scheduled delivery date of 6th of December it’s now the 18th of December and nothing has arrived!! please can a customer service representative please dm me so I can get this sorted or face cancellation. (I’m aware of the warehouse incident and lack of public announcements from VM, no apology received anywhere at anytime) i hear of customers receiving routers etc but no TV services. kind regards E82505Views0likes9Comments
