Urgent: Suspected Fraudulent O2 ID Creation
Dear O2 Customer Service, I am writing to report a suspected fraudulent activity involving my personal information. On 12 September, I received a suspicious phone call from someone claiming to be from O2. After the call, I discovered that a Virgin Media O2 ID was created under my email address without my authorisation. (Team member please DM me for the email address) I am concerned that my account may have been compromised or used for fraudulent purposes. Could you please: Check whether there has been any unusual activity on any O2 or Virgin Media O2 accounts associated with my email address. Cancel or delete the Virgin Media O2 ID that was created without my consent. I have trying for the past hour to add a 2nd passkey to my VM account, my 1st passkey is for my pc and i want to add a 2nd on my phone. In the VM app when i select "Add Passkey" on the manage passkeys screen, it gives the error "your passkey wasn't verified please try again or choose another way to sign in" so i select "sign in another way" it goes to the text code entry screen, i enter the code sent in the text message and select submit, it goes back to the manage passkeys screen with the message "You've cancelled adding a new passkey" and it ends up with me in a loop of select add passkey > submit text code > back to manage passkeys with the above message. am i missing something or is the app just borked?61Views0likes7CommentsCan’t enter a “valid” email address on sign in
When I try to sign in to my Virgin Media account with my email address I get an error message saying, “Please enter a valid email address”. If I use the “Forgot your email address” tool then the email address it displays is the one that you’re telling me isn’t valid! So now I can’t access my account. What am I supposed to do? PS. Can’t search for tags on Safari mobile, and Safari desktop displays the message, “Forbidden. You don’t have permission to access url”, which is why I’m using mobile. Hi i am due to be out of contract in 6 weeks and for as long as I have had the account the Virgin media account portal tells me to upgrade my package or check renewal offers. However every time I click the links I always get a Sorry not found page displayed. Posting this based on guidance in ModTeam Moderator post linked below. I was / am an old NTLWorld customer and when trying to login to my account today I'm forced to setup a new Virgin Media 02 login instead. I've done that, and in the process changed from an ntlworld.com to gmail.com email. However when I try to use this new login, it keeps taking me back through the new Virgin Media 02 login setup process each time. Its an endless loop of receiving a "Verify your email address" email, which I do, and then back to the setup process when I actually try to login. I'm stuck and can't access VM's online chat for help because I can't login to my account! Moderator - please help. Hi, I am not receiving the verification email to log in to my account. This also happens when I am being asked to link my virginO2 to my Virginmedia account and when I try to log into Sky Sports. My original problem was that my login email address was an old one that I no longer had access to. I have had several live chats and a long phone call, where my problem was escalated to IT. I have not heard anything now for 2 weeks. i have now managed to get access to that old email address, it sends and receives perfectly well, but nothing from Virgin to verify and access my account.
