Spam calls claiming to be virgin media.
I’m being spammed multiple times today from a number 0800 052 8675 claiming to be virgin media. They call me by name and I keep telling them that I’m happy with what I have and I’m not interested in hearing about any upgrades because I’m happy with what I have. they then get very pushy and annoyed that I say this and I repeat myself multiple times and then hang up. Just today I have been called 7+ times. is it really virgin media, and if it is, how can I stop the spam? Hello, My personal email address is bound to my mothers Virgin Media account - when trying to remove this online and after recieving the verification link I get an error along the lines of "This link is no longer valid" though I have just recieved it. My problem is that I have just got Virgin Media at my own property but now I cannot access my account with my email address because its bound to the wrong account.. Can someone help me please=? Posting this based on guidance in ModTeam Moderator post linked below. I was / am an old NTLWorld customer and when trying to login to my account today I'm forced to setup a new Virgin Media 02 login instead. I've done that, and in the process changed from an ntlworld.com to gmail.com email. However when I try to use this new login, it keeps taking me back through the new Virgin Media 02 login setup process each time. Its an endless loop of receiving a "Verify your email address" email, which I do, and then back to the setup process when I actually try to login. I'm stuck and can't access VM's online chat for help because I can't login to my account! Moderator - please help. Hi, I signed up for virgin broadband last week. Installation is due to take place on 18 December. I've set up my virgin media online account but am unable to edit my phone contact number. When I signed up I added my old landline number but, since I'm only getting broadband, I need to change my contact number to my mobile number. Hi all for some reason I cannot sign into my VM account or the connect app . I input my email and verified password but it's saying no, I have had the password verified months ago but now it will not accept it . It gives me an option to verify another way so I tap on it and receive a link in my email saying tap verify . I do that and it takes me to a page that's counting down and tells me to return to the previous screen but that's still asking for email and password I can get into my 02 account because I use a 4 digit code not the password. On the 10th of November, there was some work on the pavement outside my house, and unfortunately the contractors which were doing the work (City Fibre) cut the virgin cable link to my house. Instead of leaving the damage open allowing someone from virgin to come and try to fix the issue, they decided to try to patch the cable themselves and then fill the hole with tarmac in order to complete their job! Since then i have no television services and a very low and intermittent internet that according to 1 of the virgin engineer who came to my house i was lucky to get due to the very low signal going through the cables. The first engineer came on the 13th and obviously was unable to fix the problem informing that they needed to dig outside and replace the cable. He apparently book a team to come and do that, team which was suppose to come on the 17th. I then received a message a day before telling me that this appointment was cancelled and it was book for the 1st of December. No one came on the 1st of December. I contacted virgin on the evening of the 1st, and then they apparently book an engineer to come which was today. The engineer came to apparently install my tv box !!! I am now completely fed up and have had no communications from people at virgin to let me know what is happening and why they are not sending a team to deal with the problem. Hi Yesterday I logged into the my virgin media app and went into the black Friday deal section, I choose the option to get 1gig for an extra 7 quid or so, I'm just wondering if its actually gone through and im going to get this or not? Hi! I signed up for Virgin Media Social Tariff literally three days ago, I'm not even using it yet as the technician is coming tomorrow to replace a old NTL socket that isn't working. I was told, and in my contract, it says £20 a month, rolling, until December 2026 when it goes up to £28. I was told to ring then if I was still on it to get it back down. However in my app, it's saying it's increasing to £28 in December 2025!? Is this normal because it's a rolling contract and the app just assumes my contract is always about to end? So it'll just reset to £20 each month with a warning that my contract is running out? It's really confused me! Thanks for any clarification!Solved
