Joined the Social Tariff a few days ago for £20, but the app is telling me it's increasing to £28
Hi! I signed up for Virgin Media Social Tariff literally three days ago, I'm not even using it yet as the technician is coming tomorrow to replace a old NTL socket that isn't working.
I was told, and in my contract, it says £20 a month, rolling, until December 2026 when it goes up to £28. I was told to ring then if I was still on it to get it back down.
However in my app, it's saying it's increasing to £28 in December 2025!?
Is this normal because it's a rolling contract and the app just assumes my contract is always about to end? So it'll just reset to £20 each month with a warning that my contract is running out?
It's really confused me!
