TV Go Android app - 'sorry we can't play this at the moment 0'
I am using a brand new Android Tablet with the latest Android release (v16) and have installed the TV Go App - I am able to log onto my account and when selecting any channel, the request to register the device appears, as soon as I select register, I then get the following error: Not Available - Sorry we can't play this at the moment 0 I have tried clearing cache, even deleting and re-installing the app. I am also able to successfully watch when accessing Virgin TV Go via Chrome on the same device, so it's just via the TV Go app that it doesn't work. I renewed my virgin media account last Thursday 25th September, ever since when I login on the sky sports app via the virgin login section, I log in and then click on watch and then choose to watch live football, it comes up with this box (see attached picture) and when I click 'got it' and when I try and click on to watch live football again, I get the same pop up box, so it doesn't allow me to watch live sky sports channels anymore. I registered as new Virgin Media customer recently and have the TV sports package. When I try to log into the Sky Sports app on my iPad using my VM credentials, I am asked to create a pin for Sky guidance read content. However, once I create a pin and click “continue” I keep getting a message saying “We can’t set your PIN up right now. Please try again later”. Has anyone seen this or has any solutions? I've been with VM for years, always had Sky Sports HD and TNT.... Renegotiated my contract yesterday (same package including Sky Sports and Cinema HD and TNT sports), NOthing changed...... 11pm last night my access to Skysports streaming stopped working and hasnt come back on since - I can still watch on the TV box, but if I try the Sky Sports app on my Iphone, Samsung Tablets or web browser on my laptop I get this.......... No matter how many times I log out and back in its still does not work..... I was hoping it would fix itself overnight as perhaps my account was updating following the extending of my contract, but still nothing..... Every time I try to watch live TV through the APP it asks me to register the same device (i.e. replace a device) - I now have this same device 3 times in my list of 5. Plus it is using up one of my 3 changes allowed every time meaning I can't now change for a month. Upshot is I can't watch live TV. I stress that I am using the TV Go APP - not via a browser. Im in an endless loop of trying to log into Virgin TV Go on the iphone app or within a web browser. Yesterday i was asked to set up a Virgin Media O2 ID and now i cant access anything. Here are the steps of what is currently happening. Enter email address Enter password Verification email is sent to my email adress Clicked on the 'verify its me' link Get a confimration page saying = 'Your email address has been verified' Go back to Virgin TV Go and Im still logged out Ive tried this numerous times on my PC, Macbook and iPhone and cant login from enay device or any browser. How do I turn off the subtitles on TVGo so that they stay off. Despite them being off in the settings, every time I change channel they turn on again. Sometimes I turn them off and then they turn on again when one programme ends and another starts on the same channel. To say its annoying is an understatement.
