Hey, just need some advice....
Currently have 2 V6 boxes and tivo box. Have always wanted to keep the tivo box use to it linking up with our dvd recorder via scart to recordings onto disc.
Called Customer Services last night to upgrade box V6 boxes to 360 and was told i needed to upgrade all 3 boxes to 360 including the tivo box
So basically could not upgrade both V6 boxes on there own, i have to have all 3 boxes upgraded (a engineer would have to come out for the Tivo box). i asked the agent for a reason why i couldnt keep the Tivo box as it is, but he couldnt give me a reason.
Just checking then, if this is the case and the reasons why i cant just have the two V6 boxes ugraded and not the tivo!
thanks in advance

You can't run TiVo software on the same household account as the horizon TV 360 system. Totally different systems.

What you have been advised is correct.
All TV boxes on an account have to run the same operating system, TiVo for V6 and TiVo and Horizon for TV 360.
Your TiVo will be replaced by a mini TV 360 box, which has no hard disk.
Your 2 x V6 boxes retain their disks on conversion and any recording made on the mini box use one of these disks.
