I have to move my Hub4 to the living room but I need new 10 m long coaxial cable Rg6 or Rg11.Is Virgin Media can send to me this cable because my present cable is just less than 1m long.Do I have to book a technician or enough to order just this cable from VM and do by myself.Maybe someone have some experience with choosing coaxial type cable. Is better Rg6 or Rg11?

VM are more likely to send an engineer to do the re-wiring and the fee is usually £25 which covers parts and labour.

You will have to book a technician call-out for this (£25 standard fee). Extending the cable by this much is likely to adversely affect the signal levels at your property. So the technician will make up the required cable, test the levels & then make any required adjustments in the street cabinet to keep your connection at optimum performance.

Hi KrisP,
Thanks for taking the time to contact us via the Community. It's lovely having you on board with us in the Forums. ⭐
In order to move the hub to another room, we would need to look at booking an engineer for you. This is because, the engineer will need to ensure the new area, where you want the hub to go, is suitable. They'll also need to check the signals on the line to ensure they are optimal once the move is complete.
I just need to confirm the address to ensure we are booking the visit on the correct account. I have sent you a direct message to allow us to do this with you in a private space.
