Flashing blue light Hub 4

So this morning at 0843 my internet went down. Checked the status and it said there was a local fault. Around 0930 I had a knock on my door, it was VM engineers saying they'd traced the fault to my house. It was them who had disabled the internet at 0843 when they were trying to trace the fault. They messed about with cables both outside and inside the house, told me it had been sorted and left. They didn't wait to see if the hub and connection were fine before they left. Now I can't get connected, my hub gets stuck on fast flashing green light for ages and then gets stuck on a flashing blue light. I've tried rebooting and resetting to no avail. Can a mod arrange for those engineers to come back and fix the problem they've caused? I think it was a bit shoddy not to make sure the service was fine before they left....I can't get an engineer out till tomorrow between 12 and 4 which is ridiculous when you consider I had a working connection until the engineers turned up.

You need to phone customer service. A VM staff member will not get to your post for 2 or 3 days because this is a help board not a fault reporting system.

I've called them, they said there's a fault in the area and it'll be fixed by 6pm. The engineer told me this morning that the fault in the area had been intermittent over the last couple of days but they had finally tracked it to my premises. The fault was rectified according to the engineers who were inside my house this morning. The irony is, my internet was fine until they switched it off at 0843 to fix the problem that I didn't even know I had.

I'm basically screwed until another engineer appears tomorrow afternoon.

Hey trickesterdude, thank you for reaching out and we are sorry to hear you are suffering from an outage.

We understand how frustrating these outages can be, the team will be working on a fix for it.
