New hub 5 blue flashing lights

Help! Have just upgraded to 1GB, received a new hub 5 to replace old hub 3. All swapped over and now all I see is a blue flashing light!  Have checked cables all ok. Have left it an hour and power cycled it, no joy.

Have tried to call 150 and have simply lost the will to live. How can a tech organisation offer such. rubbish technical support service! Went through the IVR options, no option to talk with a human, in the end had to just book a tech to visit for 3 days time which seems ridiculous.

Is there anything else that I can do to get this Hub 5 working?

  • All sorted. I rang 08009539500 and they activated the Hub 5.  Turns out if you upgrade and they supply a new Hub you need to manually activate the Hub….shame no documentation states that that came with the hub! :-(

    Knows their stuff

The blue light usually indicates the WPS has been activated and the Hub is searching for a new device to connect.

To activate the hub, ring 0800 953 9500

  • WPS hasn’t been initiated.  I will try calling the number provided, let’s see if they can help.
