Renewal Contract Offer - TV Essentials

Jtallented
Tuning in

My contract has just ended and I have received a contract renewal email. This email states that I can get the "Same great package, even better price" promising a 20% off discount.

However when I look into the offer it isn't the "same great package" at all. On my current package I have "Mix TV", however on the new contract it instead has "TV Essentials". I cannot find any information about this TV essentials anywhere.

Can someone please let me know what the difference is between Mix TV and TV Essentials?

Hi @Jtallented,

We would advise you to discuss this with the sales team in regards to the new deal, we are unable to advise on this.
Thanks,
Zoie

Why do I need to speak to a sales team to find out the difference between the two TV Packages?

Thanks for coming back to us @Jtallented.

We do have some online literature to advise what is classed as Essential TV.

As Mix-TV is a legacy package that is no longer sold, any re-contract will be based on the currently available TV tier.

This is either base-tier Mixit or top-tier Maxit.

Click this link for more details, or do indeed call our Sales Team on 0800 183 1234

Thanks,

Thanks for your reply David. Base-tier Mixit has considerably less channels than my current Mix-TV, so the email claiming to give me "the same great package" is actually lying? I don't really expect much else from Virgin nowadays...

Your link does not work by the way.

We understand your frustration Jtallented, the link provided by japitts works for us via chrome if you haven't tried that. We'd recommend calling the sales team on the number provided for further support with packages.
