I recently renewed my contract on the basis that my services would not change, however virgin have taken it upon themselves to downgrade my Netflix standard to standard with ads! I am not impressed. I will not pay the additional £6. The contract clearly states Netflix standard and that's what I've been receiving for the past 18 months. I will cancel the renewal as it's been less than 14 days and go to sky stream. I have literally had enough of this and the only reason I haven't cancelled already is the renewal price was competitive. I can't be bothered to argue with support again. Please someone sort this out or I'm done.

I had the same issue but a virgin rep on here looked at this for me and is currently sorting this out. They cannot change the setup as apparently this is standard now as it is for sky as well that Netflix is provided with ads so swapping to sky would not improve the situation. As it was in my contract they are looking at a discount to cover the cost of upgrading. Hope that helps.

Hi @Skunk1979 👋.
Thanks for reaching back out to us, apologies for the issues that you are having with your package, at the time prior to your contract renewal Netflix standard was included, since Netflix have changed their package tiers, they have reflected with us which ones are included which is Netflix with ads, for Standard without Ads and Premium, there are additional charges.
So that we can look into yours further we would need to bring you in for a private message. Please look out for the envelope on the top right of your web browser or if you are using a mobile device, it will be located under your profile icon.
Thanks.
