No price rise calculations been advised yet, but you could work out the standard one by RPI + 3.9% - but normally it would be the RPI figure of February (not reached Feb 2025 yet). On the other hand it could be your standard out of contract price quoted as the extra increase if you didn't renegotiate a new contract.

They did phone up saying my £36 a month will turn into £49 a month when I renew, unless I have the package of sky included and a tv box at the same price or without anything still £49..It was one of those pressure calls which I didn't need at 72 to make a decision. When i asked to speak to someone about if I would like to continue with my present set up, he gave me a 150 or 151 number. Then he said it will me cost premium rates to call them, but I could except the package now and save the trouble.

150 is a free call from a VM landline. The equivalent from any other phone is 0345 4541111 which is a landline rate call - exactly as if it were an 01 or 02-prefix.
Anyone who tells you it's premium-rate is either confused, misadvised, or worse.

Do you have marketing options turned off in 'My Virgin Media' if you don't want to receive calls like that from VM?

I can't turn it off, it doesn't except my password or email on the sight.

I tried resetting my password, but it doesn't send any reset information to both my emails at all, so can't get into my account or reset it. It makes you wonder who's running it.
