New Customer - Telephone number not being ported over

Hi, we recently joined Virgin Media, and as part of the change we asked to have our number ported over. The engineer who did the install confirmed the port as in progress, but it has been 14 days and our number still hasn't ported over.  Can anyone please give some guidance?
