Landline phone does not work - 'Please check line cord' message

From yesterday, unable to receive or make phone calls on landline.

Unplugged and replugged - does not work.

Please can you advise? Thanks

Thanks for reaching out to us. Apologies for the issues that you are having with your landline. We have taken a look in your area and can see that there is an outage in your area that is currently affecting certain services that you are receiving from us. The estimated fix date for this is 29th Feb at 9am, should your phone service not return, please do reach back out to us so we can look into this further.
